The 26-year-old from Karnataka is an excellent leg-spinner apart from having the ability to contribute with the bat low down the order.

Shreyas Gopal, who has 38 wickets in 31 IPL matches, played for Mumbai Indians from 2014-2017, and was part of the squad that won the titles in 2015 and 2017. Rajasthan Royals bought him at his base price of INR 20 lakh at the 2018 auction, and most would agree that it has been a bargain buy for the men from Jaipur.

The all-rounder, who took 11 wickets in the 2018 IPL, produced a sensational performance in the 2019 edition picking up 20 wickets (fourth highest wicket-taker) at an economy of 7.22, with best figures of 3/12.
