#2 Angelo Mathews

Angelo Mathews
Mathews has scored over 10,000 runs across all three formats combined

Tasked with leading Sri Lankan cricket through a tough transition phase, Mathews has played several valuable knocks over the last few years. Following one such contribution in the second T20I against South Africa, he was sidelined with a hamstring injury and missed the 3-match series in Australia.

The all-rounder did not feature in the 2016 edition of the IPL. For this season’s auction, he has set his base price at a whopping INR 200 lakhs. Though the Lankans do not have any international commitments during April-May, it remains to be seen if the franchises decide to splurge big money on him considering his fitness woes.

Reserve Price – INR 200 lakhs

Tests – 65, ODIs – 180 and T20Is – 68

Combined international matches – 313

Total international runs from all three formats – 10,009; Total international wickets from all three formats – 180
