Stats: Most Test hundreds by a cricketer for each country

New Zealand: Kane Williamson/Martin Crowe

Kane Williamson has been in supreme form off late and has been scoring centuries for fun. Earlier today, he equalled the legendary Martin Crowe’s record of the most number of Test centuries by a Kiwi batsman by scoring his 17th century against South Africa.

Kane Williamson made his debut against India in Ahmedabad in November 2010. He wasted no time in making his mark as he became only the second ever player from New Zealand to score a century on debut with his knock of 131 in that Test. He was made the captain of the side back in 2012 and has led his side in 27 matches so far, winning 11 of them.

Pakistan: Younis Khan

An evergreen veteran who still continues to play an integral role in the Pakistan Test side, Younis Khan has been one of the most consistent batsmen ever. Currently only 23 runs behind the 10000 run mark, Younis has played in 115 Tests for Pakistan and averages 53.06 with the bat with 32 half centuries and 34 centuries to his name.

He made his debut against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi in the year 2000 and scored his first century in the 2nd innings of the match. He broke Inzamam Ul Haq’s record of the most number of Test centuries by a Pakistan batsman against Australia in 2014 in Dubai when he scored 106 runs in the first innings in a match which Pakistan won.
