With more than ten thousand ODIs runs at an average nearing 60 and 41 ODI centuries, Virat Kohli was always going to be a batsman to watch out for in World Cup 2019. Kohli has excelled in the ODI format all over the world. The Indian skipper likes the big stage and has his eyes set on the coveted World Cup trophy.

Unfortunately, Kohli did not have the perfect start to the tournament as he got out on 18 runs against South Africa. However, Kohli showed signs of coming back to form in the second game against Australia. The 30-year-old scored a fluent 82 off 77 balls that helped India reach a winning total of 352 runs. Even though Kohli is quite low in the list of highest run-scorers in the tournament at the moment, the Indian run-machine is known to score runs in heaps and it won't be a surprise if Kohli jumps the queue by scoring a couple of centuries on a trot.
