Proud history - Lord's, London

When it comes to Lords, Team India has some pleasant memories courtesy of their iconic moments at the Home of Cricket. The subcontinent powerhouse won their first ICC Trophy at Lord's and it is fair to say that the ground holds a lot of significance in India's cricketing folklore.
It was at Lord's when India won their first ever World Cup and it was at the very same ground when Mahendra Singh Dhoni led India to ICC Champions Trophy success.
In total, India has played 8 times at Lord's and boast a record of 4 wins, 3 losses and 1 ended in no-contest.
Surprisingly, despite possessing such a good record, no Indian Batsman has ever scored a century at the home of cricket. Team India isn't scheduled to play any of their group stage fixtures at Lord's cricket ground in the upcoming ICC World Cup but if they manage to go all the way to the final, then they will have the opportunity to reignite their love affair with one of the greatest Cricket stadiums of the World - Lord's.
A poor record - The Oval, London

India may have a decent record at Lord's but when it comes to The Oval, things don't look entirely spectacular for the Men in Blue. India have played their most number of ODIs in England at The Oval with 15 being the current number.
Of those 15, Team India has won 5, lost 9 and 1 ended in no-result. The ground hasn't yielded joyous moments for avid fans of Indian cricket as they had to endure their favourite side get thrashed at the hands of bitter rivals Pakistan in the final of 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.
That was India's last match at The Oval and it is right to say that not many supporters of Indian cricket team remember that clash very fondly. India will look to improve their record at Kennington Oval this summer when they take the centre stage at the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
