Now that Cipher has been released in Honkai Star Rail, players can roll for her and obtain some of her Eidolons. These power-ups grant the character boosts in various ways. With multiple options to choose from, players may wonder which ones to prioritize to maximize the unit’s performance without breaking the bank.
This article ranks Cipher’s Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail. Note that I have decided to exclude her E3 and E5 as they only increase her ability levels and are widely considered filler Eidolons.

Ranking Cipher’s Eidolons in Honkai Star Rail
4) The Jig is Up, Quick to Flee

Cipher’s fourth Eidolon in Honkai Star Rail, The Jig is Up, Quick to Flee, ranks last on this list. When activated, this power-up allows the character to deal extra damage to an enemy affected by the Patron state when an ally attacks them.
Although the extra damage from The Jig is Up, Quick to Flee is decent, the number of Stellar Jades required to acquire it is quite high. For this reason, this power-up is not worth picking up if you are looking for an upgrade.
3) Read the Room, Seek the Glee

Cipher’s first Eidolon is Read the Room, Seek the Glee. It boosts both her ATK and her recorded damage value by a substantial amount. While the percentage boosts might seem like a lot, it is not really a lot of damage in practice.
Even with this Eidolon activated, Cipher won’t deal that much extra damage to enemies in various activities. For this reason, you shouldn’t waste your Stellar Jades and pull for Read the Room, Seek the Glee.
2) In a Fray, Nab on a Spree

Cipher’s second Eidolon, In a Fray, Nab on a Spree, ranks second on this list. Like her other power-ups, this one grants a unique effect. When equipped, Cipher deals extra damage to enemies she attacks for a couple of turns. This increases her overall damage output, especially when unleashing her recorded damage through her Ultimate.
If you want a good Eidolon that boosts Cipher’s damage potential without having to spend a lot of Stellar Jades, In a Fray, Nab on a Spree is the one you should pull.
1) The Thief’s Game, Unsung and Free

Cipher’s sixth Eidolon, The Thief’s Game, Unsung and Free, claims the first spot on this list. Unlike the other power-ups here, this one grants the newly released Nihility unit a substantial damage boost.
Since The Thief’s Game, Unsung and Free easily boosts Cipher’s follow-up attack damage, it allows her to obliterate most enemies with smaller HP pools.
Moreover, this Eidolon can boost her Ultimate’s damage output as she records extra damage when using her Talent’s FUA. Although this power-up is expensive, its effects are highly valuable and worthwhile. If you have enough Stellar Jades to spare without jeopardizing your account’s balance, The Thief’s Game, Unsung and Free is worth rolling for.
