XDefiant will be released globally on May 21, 2024, with cross-platform compatibility set to be available on consoles and PC systems. The first-person shooter is developed by Ubisoft San Francisco and published by Ubisoft.
The title aims to balance standard gunplay and special abilities in a dynamic setting, comparable to other hero shooters and older CoD releases like Black Ops 3. The game boasts unique combat, influenced by other Ubisoft offerings like Watch Dogs, Ghost Recon, The Division, and Splinter Cell. It features a 6v6 arena where players can utilize different abilities tied to varied game factions.

Which platforms does XDefiant support?
Ubisoft's latest shooter will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. To download the game on a PC, you should use the Ubisoft Connect client.

XDefiant is free to play and doesn't cost anything to download. Players also have the option to preload it so that they can jump into the arena as soon as the game is live.
Cross-platform accessibility is a key focus in the brand-new 5v5 tac shooterr, accommodating both keyboard mouse and controller inputs. Aim assist, while beneficial, has sparked debate over game balance due to its impact on player movement.

XDefiant's server test session, which went live from April 19, 2024, to April 21, 2024, and was then extended to April 22, 2024, had a positive reception. The test session involved multiple platforms to check the load capacity of the game servers.
