ARC Raiders release date revealed at Summer Game Fest 2025

ARC Raiders is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2025. Developed by Embark Studios, the same team behind The Finals, this sci-fi extraction shooter already had some very well-received playtests that left fans wanting more. Fans were hopeful to get an open beta announcement at the Summer Game Fest 2025, after seeing Embark as one of the official partners. Instead, we now have the official release date for its final version.

ARC Raiders is now confirmed to launch on October 30, 2025, much sooner than most fans probably expected. On that note, here’s everything we currently know about the game.

ARC Raiders: Release date, platforms, and current details

For those unaware, ARC Raiders is a third-person PvPvE extraction shooter set in a strange, dystopian sci-fi world. The most recent playtest for the game concluded on May 4, 2025, and the developers did not provide any information regarding its final release at the time.

Now, the game is confirmed for a release on October 30, 2025, and will be available on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and even for cloud gaming via NVIDIA GeForce Now.

As of now, Embark Studios has not confirmed if ARC Raiders will be free-to-play. It also remains unclear if another playtest or open beta will take place before the official launch. However, the chances of another playtest now are very unlikely, as it wasn't mentioned during the Summer Game Fest or in the official Steam blog.
