In Stellar Blade, side quests are a key way to earn Gold, Vitcoin, and unlockables like outfits and upgrades. One such quest, Wife’s Medicine, becomes available a bit later in the game but is easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. It starts after completing the Wisdom Puzzle quest in Xion and getting access to Matrix 11 during the main story.

Once you’ve unlocked the Matrix 11 region, return to the Bulletin Board in Xion. There, you’ll find a request from a man whose wife is suffering from Mysterious Sand Disease — a condition contracted from the toxic sand in the Great Desert. The goal is to locate a special medicine hidden deep within Matrix 11’s tunnels. Whether you’ve already completed Matrix 11 or it’s your first time venturing in, there are two different approaches you can take to find the cure.
1) Returning to Matrix 11
If you’ve already explored Matrix 11 during the story, the quest is easy. Use a Fast Travel phone in the Wasteland to reach the Atless Levoire Entrance. Speak to Adam to head back into Matrix 11. From there, use the first Fast Travel phone inside to get to the Temporary Armory Entrance.
You’ll find an elevator nearby — take it up to the next floor, walk forward, and you’ll arrive at the old settlement camp. Look near the yellow ladder, and you’ll see the Wife’s Medicine on a wooden display shelf.
2) First Time in Matrix 11
If you haven’t completed Matrix 11 yet, getting the medicine will take longer. You must fight your way through a set of tunnels, gathering items as you go. Eventually, you’ll need to flood the sewers to move forward. This leads to a boss fight with an Alpha Nayteba called The Stalker. It’s a tough enemy, so ensure to use Shield Breaker Beta attacks and Burst abilities like Tempest, especially if you’ve unlocked the Shield Break skill. Focus on dodging and countering its close-range attacks while avoiding its red-marked strikes.

After defeating The Stalker, continue forward into the Abandoned Settlement. Head left at the ladder and look for the same wooden shelf near the yellow ladder— that’s where the medicine is located.
Finishing the quest
Once you’ve picked up the medicine, all that’s left is to return to Xion and turn in the quest at the Bulletin Board. Completing Wife’s Medicine will reward you with Gold and Vitcoin. It’s a satisfying side mission that pays off both in lore and loot.
Even though Wife’s Medicine is a short quest, it adds meaningful world-building to Stellar Blade and offers solid rewards for your time.
