
Frédéric Vasseur is a motorsport executive and businessman, currently appointed as the team principal for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team for the 2025 season and beyond. Vasseur was born on May 28, 1698, in Draveil, France. Later, he moved to Paris for higher studies. Vassuer earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering at ESTACA in 1995. In 1996, after graduating, he founded the ASM racing team.
The ASM partnered with Renault and won the French Formula 3 championship in 1998 and the F3 Euroseries with Mercedes-Benz. His first role as a team principal came with the Renault F1 team in 2016. However, he resigned from the post at the end of the 2016 season before being hired by Sauber Motorsport in July 2017.
