While Carlos Sainz was suited up in New York for the F1 Movie premiere, his girlfriend Rebecca Donaldson was soaking up the sun aboard a yacht on Italy’s Amalfi Coast. The model shared glimpses of her holiday through a string of Instagram Stories, striking a stark contrast to the F1 buzz on Times Square.
The premiere for F1 The Movie took place on Monday night, less than 24 hours after a challenging race weekend for Sainz in Montreal. While Sainz joined Brad Pitt and other Formula 1 drivers at the glitzy Times Square rollout, his girlfriend skipped the Hollywood-style celebrations altogether.
Donaldson took a break this week, sharing multiple pictures on her Instagram story from the Amalfi Coast in Italy.

She wore a navy blue bikini and black sunglasses, sitting on a boat off the coast of Positano. Other uploads from the trip saw her with her girlfriends aboard a yacht, relaxing under the sun with drinks in hand.
Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz was at the center of attention during F1 The Movie's world premiere in New York. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Lewis Hamilton, and Brad Pitt, the film is about a fictional racer Sonny Hayes making a dramatic comeback in the APXGP team, alongside rookie teammate Joshua Pearce, played by Damson Idris.
Carlos Sainz joins Brad Pitt and stars in Times Square for the F1: The Movie premiere

Carlos Sainz joined Williams teammate Alex Albon and Team Principal James Vowles at the F1 movie premiere. Filmed during F1 weekends and produced by Apple Original Films & Warner Bros. Pictures, the film's authenticity has been praised throughout the paddock.
Speaking on stage at Times Square, Sainz noted the scale of the moment (via Williams):
"It's incredible, especially to see such a young audience here in New York. This will capture so many new fans. I'm just enjoying the moment Formula 1 is going through, but I think there will be a before and after for this film."
He added with a laugh:
"It felt weird seeing them on the grid. I did a couple of grid walks with Brad (Pitt) by my side, and I was like what are you doing here or what am I doing here? I was next to a movie scene, and he was also next to my driver role."

Lewis Hamilton and Brad Pitt led the cast, drivers, and team principals onto the red carpet, with all the F1 cars lined up in Times Square. The Formula 1 paddock will head to Austria for Round 11 on June 26, and Carlos Sainz will look to rebound on track.
