Barcelona are one of the most successful clubs of all time. In the last decade, from 2010 to 2019, the Blaugrana have won six La Liga titles, two UEFA Champions League titles and five Copa del Rey titles. They are also the club side with the most league wins in the last decade among the top five European leagues.

The decade has brought some unforgettable moments for the club. Be it Pep Guardiola's defining era, Neymar's transfer or Tito Vilanova's sad demise; the club has seen ups and downs during the last ten years. Lionel Messi himself has produced memories engrained in every football fan's mind.

So, let's have a look at five memorable Barcelona moments of the decade (2010-2019).

#5 The comeback against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League Round of 16

It was a miraculous night at the Camp Nou as Barcelona pulled off the impossible against Paris Saint-Germain, overturning a four-goal deficit in the knockout stage of the Champions League.

The Parisians arrived at the stadium expecting to reach the next round with ease. However, they were not ready for the sheer grit and the never-say-die attitude of the Blaugrana, coached by Luis Enrique.

Goals from Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Layvin Kurzawa (own goal) and the iconic toe poke by substitute Sergi Roberto in the dying seconds of the game ensured an instrumental 'remontada' that will be remembered for generations to come.

There are absolutely no adjectives left to describe the phenomenon that is Lionel Messi. The Blaugrana No 10 scores 50 goals every season like it's normal. What's insane for others, is routine for the Argentine.

However, in 2012, Leo Messi did the unthinkable. In a La Liga clash against Real Betis in December, Messi scored his 85th goal of the year, equalling German legend Gerd Muller's record of the most number of goals scored in a calendar year.

The Argentine went on to score six more goals as he set a new record of 91 goals in a year. A record that will take a lot of time to be challenged, let alone be broken.

#3 Five goals against Real Madrid at Camp Nou

The 2010/11 season for Barcelona was outstanding as the side played the greatest football the world has ever seen. The team played exquisite football week in, week out. Be it the solid defensive partnership of Gerard Pique and Carles Puyol, the holy trinity of a midfield consisting of Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets or the phenomenon that is Lionel Messi, the side was oozing class and played peak possession-based football.

And that's exactly what they did when arch-rivals Real Madrid arrived at the Camp Nou. Goals from Xavi, Pedro, Jeffren and a brace from David Villa saw the Blaugrana cruise against Los Blancos.

#2 The treble-winning 2014/15 season

Barcelona is the only club in football history to win the treble of the UEFA Champions League, the league title (La Liga) and the league cup (Copa del Rey) twice. While the first one came during the 2008/09 season under Pep Guardiola, the second one was under Luis Enrique.

The Blaugrana thrived in all competitions they were involved in. The trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar ran riot. They won La Liga by two points against Atletico Madrid, defeated Juventus in the Champions League final and claimed their 27th Copa del Rey against Athletic Bilbao, with Messi scoring arguably the greatest goal in a cup final.

More often than not, Barcelona are the most dominant side in any match they play. This game, however, displayed a gulf in class against Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United side that was nearly unbelievable. It was poetry in motion. This Barcelona side was as close to unbeatable as it can get.

With all three of Pedro, Lionel Messi and David Villa getting on the scoresheet, Barcelona outclassed the Red Devils in every single area of the game. The duo of Xavi-Iniesta orchestrated the whole game and did not even break a sweat. It was just magic.

"Football by the gods", as the commentator aptly said.
