#1 Frenkie de Jong (AFC Ajax)

Frenkie de Jong is a 21-year-old central midfielder who plays for AFC Ajax in the Eredivisie. He has also featured for Holland's national side, having played five matches since his debut recently in September 2018. Before this time, he'd played for Holland's U15, U18, U19, U20, and U21 squads.
Despite only having made his debut for Ajax's first team in the summer of 2016, Frenkie de Jong has since cemented himself in the midfield. Although often utilised as a central midfielder, de Jong can also play as a defensive midfielder and as a centre-back.
Transfermarkt value the 21-year-old at around £36m, as of writing, but that figure is expected to rise considerably by next month, with teams like Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain all interested in his signature.
Rumour probability: 7/10
The Daily Mail have reported that Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are all battling it out to sign Ajax's £70m wonderkid. But whilst all are currently keen on getting the 21-year-old, PSG and Barcelona have offered a better salary than City, which might tip the odds in PSG's favour.
It's now down to de Jong to decide which club he'd prefer to join next month, meaning that it really is a 50-50 outcome at this stage.
