Author’s Take
Chelsea have left it too late yet again. These deals would have been sealed with a month left but the board just kept going for targets who weren't interested in joining the club.
The case of Zappacosta is the perfect example. A bid was made just 6 hours ago and now he's having a medical at the club. If that was the case, why wasn't it done long back?
Danny Drinkwater has been a target for a long time but that too has been dragged. Unnecessary things are being done at the back that is making it difficult for the fans and the manager himself!
