RB Leipzig close in on Bruma

Before the start of their maiden Champions League campaign next season, Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig are in the market to strengthen their squad. According to reports from Kicker, the Bundesliga surprise package are said to have agreed personal terms with Galatasaray's 22-year-old Portuguese winger Bruma. However, the Turkish club are holding out for a transfer fee of €18 million, a sum which is yet to be met by Leipzig.

Borussia Dortmund want Freiburg’s Maximilian Philipp

Bild in Germany report that Borussia Dortmund are keen on adding Maximilian Philipp to their squad for a sum of €20 million after the prolonged fitness issues surrounding their star players Marco Reus and Mario Gotze. Both BVB and RB Leipzig are interested in the 23-year-old who scored nine goals for his side last season. Philipp is ready for the next step in his career and has stated before that he wishes to play in the Champions League and Dortmund or Leipzig could be ideal destinations for him to develop.
