Barcelona scouted Milinkovic-Savic on international duty
Barcelona reportedly are still interested in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and scouted the player while he was on international duty for the Serbian national team. The Lazio star was a phenomenon in Serie A last season as he scored 12 goals as a midfielder.
This season, however, his productivity has dropped significantly as he just found the net 3 times, but he is still rated highly by Lazio, with whom he is contracted until the summer of 2023.
AC Milan are also interested in the player, but the Serbian's colossal value has been the major stumbling block for the Milanese side. Lazio President Claudio Lotito is known as a tough negotiator and would slap a huge price-tag on the midfielder. Barcelona have to dig deep into their pocket if they are willing to lure the Serbian away from Lazio.
