Best Case Scenario from Premier League Table Top 4 fan base Perspective

Manchester City presently are at 1st position with 27 games played. While Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United all have one game in hand. And if the best case scenario were to be considered, after this gameweek with each team having played 27 games, the top 4 could look like this.

Liverpool 68 points.
Manchester City 65 points.
Tottenham Hotspur 63 points.
Arsenal 53 points.

But this is football!

Looking at the fixtures list, it looks like the season is going to be way more exciting and unpredictable than we could have imagined. This gameweek, we can not promise to see the best of the games, but the Premier League table is guaranteed to see a turmoil.

Manchester United vs Liverpool

One of the most exciting games in the Premier League, the games between the two clubs has always been one of the fan favourites, even for the neutrals. But this time the rivalry may drive either of the clubs, especially Liverpool, to a whole new level of confidence as this result can either break their chances for the Premier League title or make them so strong mentally that there would be no stopping them.

Both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Jurgen Klopp have some very important things to take away from this game. If Manchester United win, we know who is the next fan favourite for the manager's role next season. But if Liverpool wins we know that this could be the year of hiding for the entire Premier League fan base, especially Manchester United and Everton.

This certainly is way more important for either of the managers than to go overboard with emotions, and it is exactly this kind of pressure is what I believe may end up leaving the game stale to a draw! I hope not, but this game I think could easily end up with a 1-1 draw because let's face it, Ole would love to have the job and Klopp would rather have a point lead over Pep’s City than none.

Prediction : Manchester United 1-1 Liverpool

Arsenal vs Southampton

Arsenal v BATE Borisov - UEFA Europa League Round of 32: Second Leg
Arsenal v BATE Borisov - UEFA Europa League Round of 32: Second Leg

Unai Emery has been a great influence for Arsenal both on and off the pitch. Arsenal have fared very well under him both in terms of match results and making use of signings. Ever since his reign started, Unai has been able to pull off some great results against few of the top 6 teams, but there have also been quite a few hiccups during his time at arsenal - like 2-0 vs Tottenham, 3-1 vs Manchester City, 3-2 vs Southampton!

It is the reverse leg for the same fixture that Arsenal play today. Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men have been in good form, if not the best, and time and again have proved to be strong enough to cause a major upset against any opposition.

And it's them, I am cheering for today. Ralph Hasenhuttl has reinforced the belief back in the team with some very close wins against top oppositions, his compact set up with 2 strikers up front in either a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2 that can cause arsenal a lot of problems at the back, something Arsenal aren’t really confident about right now.

Prediction : Arsenal 1-2 Southampton

Looking at results predicted for these fixtures our Predicted Premier League Table Top 4 could look like this.

Liverpool - 66 points.
Manchester City - 65 points.
Tottenham - 63 points.
Manchester United - 52 points.

Whatever may be the results this week, there is one thing guaranteed - Premier League is about to get a lot more exciting!
