Arsenal agree personal terms with Thomas Lemar

Despite a failed last-minute attempt to sign Monaco's Thomas Lemar, Arsenal are reportedly still in the hunt for the midfielder, having pursued him relentlessly all summer. On deadline day, Arsenal had launched a £92 million bid for Lemar, but were unable to wrap up a deal in time.

Latest reports in The Sun claim that the Gunners have agreed personal terms with the Frenchman for a 5-year deal involving wages of around £250,000-a-week. Arsene Wenger's side are expected to complete the deal in the January transfer window.

Diego Costa inches towards Chelsea exit

Chelsea's wantaway star Diego Costa, it seems, is finally closing in on an exit from English Premier League champions Chelsea. After being informed that he is no longer required at the club, Costa publicly expressed his desire to move back to his former side Atletico Madrid.

According to reports in the Metro, Atletico Madrid officials have flown to London, intending to hash out a deal with the Chelsea authorities. While Costa has already agreed personal terms with the La Liga side, a £32 million bid is expected to be made soon, which will allow the striker to move back to Spain in January.

Concern seems to be growing among the fans, with English Premier League giants Arsenal and Chelsea lurking right around the corner, hoping to snap up Muller, should he choose to leave Bavaria in January's winter transfer window.

Bayer Leverkusen close in on signing Lucas Alario

The Bundesliga side are adamant in their pursuit of River Plate's striker Lucas Alario. Bayer had allegedly triggered the Argentian's release clause of €23.8 million on deadline day. However, the Argentian season had begun by then, forcing Argentine soccer association (AFA) to refuse clearance for the player.

Bayer Leverkusen have now asked FIFA to intervene and approve what they believe is a done deal. According to reports emerging from Germany, the club is reportedly optimistic that 24-year old Alario will be allowed to play soon.

While many believed that the Red Devils would come calling again in January, Perisic has put an end to all speculation after signing a new 5-year deal with Inter Milan, which will keep the Croatian at the San Siro until 2022.

After making the most of the summer transfer window by signing as many as 11 new players, AC Milan are keen on continuing their lavish spending once the window opens again in January.

This time, the Serie A giants are reportedly targeting Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, who has allegedly fallen out with the Udinese authorities. Milan could push to complete a deal for the 21-year old if they manage to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, as per reports from Calciomercato.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Marseille midfielder Maxime Lopez is now on the Catalan club's radar, and that Ernesto Valverde is closely monitoring the teenager, and has reportedly already met with the player's representatives over a potential move.
