Welcome to our daily transfer rumours round-up. As France take on Portugal in the finals of the Euro today, we take a look at what’s happening off the pitch in the world of football. Manchester United star Memphis Depay could be shown the door by Jose Mourinho, but fortunately for him, one of the biggest clubs in Europe are interested in signing him.
Arsenal are keen on signing a Barcelona star, whilst Liverpool could knock on Udinese’s door for another player. We have done an in-depth analysis on the European transfer rumours of 10th July.
Serie A
- Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci has been strongly linked to Manchester City, with rumours suggesting the Premier League side have submitted an offer of €60m. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Bonucci is yet to make a decision on his future, and has been consulting professionals if his playing style would suit in the Premier League.
- Sunderland star Emanuele Giaccherini reportedly wants to permanently return to Italy, after spending the last season at Bologna. Giaccherini’s agent had a meeting with Torino yesterday, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. The Premier League club are likely to pocket around €4m from the sale of the Italian international.
- Everton have submitted an offer of €40m for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly, reports Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio. It is reported Everton’s offer is higher than that of Chelsea, and they’re very serious about signing him.
English Premier League
- Liverpool are interested in the services of Swiss international Silvan Widmer, reports Gazza Mercato. The Premier League giants face competition from Serie A side Napoli, but Gazza Mercato believe Liverpool are in pole position.
- Rumours suggest Tottenham are in talks to Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze. According to the latest report on German newspaper Bild, Tottenham have already met Gotze’s father twice, and a decision is expected soon.
- According to The Express, Dutch star Memphis Depay could be leaving Manchester United this summer, as Jose Mourinho doesn’t see him in his future plans. Serie A giants Juventus are ready to take him on board for around €20m.
La Liga
- Barcelona star Arda Turan could be leaving the La Liga club this summer, due to lack of playing time. According to Spanish daily AS, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Fenerbahce are interested in the Turkish international. Barcelona would want at least €30m for the former Atletico Madrid star.
- Real Madrid are interested in the services of N’Golo Kante, reports Spanish website ABC. The Leicester City star has a release clause of €25m, and is keen on playing under Zinedine Zidane.
- According to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Manchester City are close to signing Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli. Manchester City, however, plan to send him out on loan this season, and maybe next season as well.
Rest of Europe
- Southampton have completed a deal for Bayern Munich star Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, reports Kicker. Both the sides have agreed a €15m fee for the Danish international, who will now play in the Premier League next season.
- Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed to L’Equipe that Arsene Wenger has met him several times during France national team matches at the Euros, but hasn’t asked him for Alexandre Lacazette, and he expects the striker to stay at the club next season.
