Serie A

Wojciech Szczesny was on loan with Roma last season.

- According to reports on Sky Sports, Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny, who had been on loan with Roma last season, is looking for another season at the club. This does not come as a surprise as Petr Cech and David Ospina are clearly the favourites to be chosen over him at Arsenal. He had made 45 appearances for the Serie A side and had also made it to the Polish Euro squad.

- According to reports on Gazzetta Dello Sport, Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is almost done with a move to Juventus. The player’s representatives had apparently made a statement about the move earlier but the 26-year-old had refused to comment. It was also reported that Roma director Mauro Baldissoni had confirmed the deal on an Italian radio as well.

- Valencia midfielder Andres Gomez is the latest target for Juventus for the upcoming transfer window, reports La Gazzetta Della Sport. The Serie A champions had been active in the transfer market since January and are rumoured to have already entered into negotiations with the Spanish side to discuss the details of the move. Club director Giuseppe Marotta is reportedly directly involved in the deal.

English Premier League

Alvaro Morata had been linked with Manchester United for quite sometime now

- According to reports on The Sun, Manchester United is set to get a boost in signing Alvaro Morata as the player has allegedly revealed that he would prefer playing with Red Devils than Chelsea. But he has put a condition on the statement and said that he would only consider this move if Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not move to Old Trafford.

- After an explosive start at the Euro 2016, Dimitri Payet is the new Chelsea target for their upcoming season. But according to the report, it seems like Payet won’t be considering leaving his club as the player does not fancy a new club. This rumour comes in lieu of his exceptional performance in the opening match of the Euro where he scored the winning goal for his country.

- Reports are now coming in that Middlesbrough would have a chance at signing Radamel Falcao as the Boro chairman is rumoured to have a very good relationship with Falcao’s agent Jorde Mendes and a deal could be easily negotiated if the player is interested in joining the recently promoted EPL club.

- Daily Mirror has reported today that Crystal Palace is apparently considering a new signing this summer and have bid for Brighton and Hove Albion’s Lewis Dunk. The bid is somewhere around £5million and might see the player move to the club if the deal goes through.

La Liga

Neymar to PSG?

- According to reports on Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain are apparently trying to sign Barcelona superstar Neymar in a bid to bolster their attack for the coming season. The club is allegedly considering activating his £153m release clause in a bid to bring him to the Parc de Princes.

- According to a report on The Express UK, Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos is being eyed by Manchester united as they look to bolster their midfield with Jose Mourinho in charge. Though it is rumoured that Jose Mourinho badly wants him at Old Trafford, the move seems bleak as Manchester United are only willing to spend £31.2million while Real Madrid is not even willing to consider an offer below £35m.

- According to fresh reports on Sportsmole UK, Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte is close to signing a deal with Manchester City ahead of the upcoming season. The Frenchman’s contract is set to expire only by 2019, but a £39m buyout clause is included which could see the player move to the blue side of Manchester this summer.

Rest of Europe

Radamel Falcao had two disappointing seasons at the EPL.

- After Radamel Falcao announcing through his twitter handle of his return to Monaco, the club is now ready to sign Kolo Toure for the upcoming season. This is following his release from Liverpool yesterday and is the highest profile name to leave Anfield after his contract expired.

- Borussia Dortmund’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan is apparently being sought out by Manchester United, according to Daily Mail. The player would boost United’s chance at the title this season as he is rated as one of the best players of Bundesliga and had the most assists in the league this season.
