Over the years, as Fortnite has grown, it has introduced new NPCs. These are usually helpful characters with whom players can interact to buy items or recruit them to help during a match. Every season, there are a lot of them on the island.

But there are also hostile NPCs. Bosses have roamed the island for several seasons, with varying numbers present during any given season. These bosses often fight back and are challenging to defeat, but the rewards are usually well worth it.

The following are some of the best bosses that Fortnite has to offer. These are ones that, despite the challenge, players sought out and visited intentionally.

Fortnite bosses that draw players across the board

6) Deadpool

Deadpool is one of the most fun characters that Fortnite has ever had. Naturally, this boss was the chief one for players. It helped that his Dual Pistols was a unique and fun weapon, but the biggest draw for loopers was fighting against Deadpool. For many, it was like entering a movie sequence. The massive audience overlap between Marvel and Fortnite made Deadpool an obvious hit.

5) Gunnar

Gunnar was the boss during Chapter 3 Seasons 1 and 2, and he was one of the best bosses in the entire game. When killed, Gunnar dropped a powerful Mythic SMG and a keycard to the Command Cavern vault, which had incredible loot. His defeat didn't come easy, but that didn't stop loopers from trying.

4) Inkquisitor

Despite being a relatively new addition (it debuted in Chapter 3 Season 4), the Inkquisitor is already pretty popular. It's a fun boss to fight primarily because of the stiff challenge. Fighting a character with fireflies and a Pumpkin Launcher is tricky, so everyone wanted to try.

Grim Gables is where it spawns, which is an entertaining location to visit and loot. This only made the Inkquisitor more popular.

3) Mandalorian

The Mandalorian was one of the best bosses on the island. The Amban Sniper Rifle was a much-desired weapon during the season, and the only way to get it was by defeating the Mandalorian. It was a challenge to do so, but that certainly didn't stop players. Plus, he's an exceptionally crafted character that loopers enjoyed fighting.

2) Darth Vader

Chapter 3 Season 2 was relatively peaceful. No antagonist on the island was trying to steal or destroy Zero Point, like in previous seasons. However, Darth Vader was on the island. Though he wasn't as integral to the storyline as previous bosses, he attracted a lot of attention.

There are several factors as to why Darth Vader was so popular. For starters, he was the only boss on the island. He also had a Lightsaber, the only one on the island. Naturally, players wanted it for themselves.

But most importantly, Darth Vader is a classic character from a top-rated movie franchise. Regardless of his purpose on the island, players were intrigued.

1) Jules

Jules was a popular boss during Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3. She offered good rewards to players who were fortunate enough to defeat her, including the Mythic Drum Gun, the Mythic Glider Gun, and the Authority keycard to the vault.

The vault had exceptional loot inside, so anyone who wanted to get that loot had to kill Jules. This made her a boss that everyone wanted to visit. It helped that she was also in the Authority POI, which was already an extremely hot drop.
