Fortnite WinterFest is finally here. The event has officially arrived with the latest weekly update (one of the first for Chapter 4) along with free gifts, new characters, and much more. It is always one of the most highly anticipated annual celebrations, and it is back after a year-long wait.

While there are challenges associated with WinterFest every year, 2022 is particularly important. With the new season only a little over a week old, it's a great time to earn XP, which these quests will grant.

There are quite a few, and they guarantee one level upgrade on the Battle Pass upon completion of all of them, and that doesn't even include the individual totals. Here's the list of challenges and how to complete them.

Fortnite Winterfest quests: A complete guide

Each challenge is worth 16,000 seasonal XP, according to iFireMonkey. That's quite a lot of XP at stake for quests that can be completed without too much stress.

Here's the full list:

  • Deal 50 damage with an SMG
  • Gain 150 shields
  • Open 21 chests
  • Collect 200 bars from eliminated players (in stages of 25, 50, 75, 125 and then 200)
  • Warm yourself at the Yule Log in the Cozy Lodge
  • Hide in a giant snowball at Frosty Fire, Brutal Bastion and Lonely Labs (all three)
  • Check the Cozy Lodge each day to possibly find a slice of pizza (three days)
  • Eliminate five opponents using the Snowball Launcher
  • Land 150,000 trick points using a dirtbike
  • Deal 100 DMR damage to opponents

Each of these is worth 16,000 XP. Upon completion of three, six, and nine challenges, Fortnite players will earn an additional 30,000 XP each time. A full level will be added after 14 completions.

Many of these challenges will happen organically, such as gaining shields and dealing damage with an SMG. Opening chests will take time but will happen naturally as well.

Warming yourself at the Yule Lodge can seem like a strange request, but it's one that arrives every Fortnite WinterFest.

To do this, you need to enter the Cozy Lodge, which is where all the presents will be. You'll likely go there every day. Once you're inside, click on whoever is sitting in the chair and then click on the fire. This will take you up close to it and you'll be warmed. Going there every day can also help you check for a slice of pizza, which is another challenge.

The Snowball Launcher will now drop from chests and can be found on the ground like other loot in Fortnite. It is an explosive weapon, akin to the grenade launcher. While the gun can be tricky to use, you'll need to pick it up each time you see it in an effort to eventually eliminate five Fortnite players with it.

Trickshot points on a dirtbike are similar to how they were on a Quadcrasher. Land the trick and you'll get points, but you won't earn any if you fail to do so. All the points don't necessarily have to be gained with one trick, either.

All Fortnite WinterFest 2022 quests should go live around 9.00 am EST.
