Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 has added many new features to the game. Epic Games has released a new map, and the Hot Spot feature from Chapter 1 has also returned.

Hot Spots are very useful for getting loot early in the game. They are marked with gold names and contain loot drones that deliver high-quality loot. However, landing in these areas is risky since they attract a lot of other players.

This article lists some of the best Hot Spots for both passive and aggressive players.

Make no mistake; every Hot Spot is more popular than a regular location. However, there are a few areas that do not get as much attention, which is why you should land there if you are looking for a more peaceful start.

Keep in mind that every named location can be a Hot Spot. These spots rotate randomly in each match. This means you will have different Hot Spots every match.

Here's a look at a few hot spots that are less popular in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1:

Lonely Labs

Lonely Labs is located far away from the island's center, which is why it's so popular among new players. If you prefer a more peaceful start and want to stock up on loot, you should land at Lonely Labs when it's a Hot Spot.

Besides loot drones, you will be able to obtain loot from many chests that are in the area. Furthermore, this location is very easy to loot, but you must use dirt bikes to escape the storm and get to the safe zone.

Breakwater Bay

Breakwater Bay is another distant place, making it less popular. While it's not as great as Lonely Labs, this location will certainly not attract as many players as some other Hot Spots.

However, keep in mind that this location is close to The Citadel. For this reason, we advise you to loot this location quickly and move away to another spot.

You could move, for example, northeast to Coastal Battlement. This landmark is not very popular, yet it has a couple of chests you can open for extra loot.

Best Fortnite Hot Spots for aggressive players

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map has many great locations with a lot of loot. For this reason, these spots are popular in every single match and are recommended landing spots for experienced and skilled players.

However, when these locations are Hot Spots, they become even more popular. In some cases, more than 25 players land in a single spot, which makes survival very difficult. If you do survive, there is no doubt you will have amazing loot for the rest of the game.

Here are a couple of popular hot spots in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 where you should land if you want instant action:

Anvil Square

Anvil Square is arguably the best Hot Spot in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. This location has more than 50 chests, including Oathbound Chests, and a lot of floor loot.

Another big advantage of Anvil Square is its position on the island. It's located in the center of the map, which means that you will not have to chase safe zones all match long. If you get lucky, you won't have to leave this place for the first 10 minutes of the match

Adding drones to Anvil Square is almost unfair. The location already has more than enough loot, so adding more arguably makes it the best Hot Spot in the game. The only downside is that you can expect a lot of other squads to land here, which will make survival much more difficult.

Faulty Splits

The Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map mostly focuses on medieval locations, which is really cool. However, Faulty Splits is a great place for players who prefer to play in an urban environment. One part of the location is urban, while the other one is medieval, yet both are incredible.

The location is located very close to the center of the island, which makes it perfect for rotating to safe zones. Additionally, Faulty Splits also has numerous chests, both regular and Oathbound.

This is another perfect Hot Spot for aggressive players in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. It's less popular than Anvil Square, so it's much easier to get out of it alive, but you can still expect a lot of action.

Slappy Shores

Back in Chapter 2, Fortnite players were able to visit Slurpy Swamp, a location that had a factory of Slurp Barrels and Slurp Juice. However, Epic Games has released a new type of consumable item, Slap Juice, in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

Slappy Shores has a lot of healing items, including both Slurp Barrels and Slap Juice Barrels. Additionally, it has more than 50 chests, which is what makes it a great Hot Spot in the current season of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Adding drones with high-quality loot to this location is a great way of ensuring that you start the match with a fantastic loadout. Additionally, you can stock up on healing items since you can simply use barrels to heal and gain the maximum shield.

The only reason this location is not as popular as the other two is its position on the map. Slappy Shores is located on the eastern side of the island, which is relatively far from the center. Fortunately, the area has a lot of bikes and cars, so rotating to the safe zone is not a big deal for most players.
