Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 kicked off two days ago with a plethora of new content and collaborations. From Doom Slayer to Geralt of Rivia, there's something for everyone in-game. However, there's still more to come and it'll be coming sooner than expected.

According to the leakers, several items and collaborations are still upcoming this season. Deku from My Hero Academia will feature alongside a new Mythic item, the elusive First-Person mode may be added in, and new technology will be available soon. With that said, here's more information on all upcoming content for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.

Christmas may come early to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1

1) My Hero Academia - Deku's Detroit Smash Mythic and All Might

During the final stages of Zero Fusion in the course of the live event, a peculiar pickaxe/harvesting tool was spotted floating in space. It had a similar color scheme to All Might from My Hero Academia and was the first sign of a potential collaboration. It didn't take long for leakers to find proof and turn the speculation into confirmation.

Although this was more than enough to get the hype-train rolling, Epic Games was not done. They revealed Deku using his Detroit Smash in the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 trailer. According to leakers, this special attack will be featured in-game as a new Mythic item/weapon.

Much like Goku's Kamehameha Mythic that featured during the Dragon Ball Collaboration, Deku's Detroit Smash Mythic will do the same. But for the time being, there's no telling when the collaboration will kick off. With Winterfest 2022 around the corner, there's just too many things going on at once.

2) First-Person Mode

The existence of the First-Person mode has been rumored for some time now. While some claim to have already played the game using this new POV, it's far from the truth. According to veteran leaker HYPEX, it was first leaked last season (Chapter 3 Season 4) and is about ready to be featured in-game.

That said, there is no timeline in place. Given that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 already has so much new content afoot, there's no room for a First-Person mode to fit in. However, given that Epic Games can create numerous playlists, they may just create a dedicated one for the new POV.

However, as pointed out by numerous players, building in the First-Person mode will be challenging. Without a wide field of view, placing down builds will take longer than usual. For this reason, it's very likely that the First-Person mode will be added to Zero Build mode first to test out the mechanic.

3) Deployable Shield Wall & Equipable Shield Wall

In the trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, a new shield item was spotted. Much like the Shield Bubble, it protects the user from incoming fire. However, unlike the shield bubble, it can be carried around and only offers protection within a 180 degree radius.

According to the leakers, the item will function as both a Deployable Shield Wall and Equipable Shield Wall. Players will likely be able to play it down when needed and pick it up again when having to push forward. It will be interesting to see if the item has a durability threshold or works on a cooldown timer.

4) Oathbound Owl/Drone

Spotting and marking mechanics have existed in-game for quite some time. However, in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, Epic Games is adding a whole new tactical approach to marking opponents. Taking a page out of other BR games that have reconnaissance drones, developers are adding one of their own designs to the game.

Dubbed Oathbound Owl/Drone, this item will be able to fly about and mark opponents within its operating area. The information will likely be relayed to the entire squad, enabling them to pin-point the target's location. This feature will add a new tactical layer to the game when implemented.
