Fortnitemares is live, and the game has never felt more alive than it is now. With Howler Claws and Pumpkin Launchers added to the loot pool, combat dynamics have shifted and become aggressive to an extent. But that's not an issue for the avid looper.

In addition to weapons and major map changes, cosmetics are another highlight of the spooky season. Seven new skins are coming to the item shop, with one bonus freebie being Chrome Punk. That said, all the skins ranked from best to worst are here.

Fortnitemares 2022 will see an influx of fresh skins

1) Ash Williams

It's no surprise that Ash Williams gets to be at the very top of this list. After dicing and slicing his way through hordes of monsters in the Evil Dead franchise, it's time to do the same in Fortnite. Given that he's been doing it for the past 40 years, he's had plenty of practice.

Based on this information, his bundle will be available in the item shop on October 23, 2022. Sadly, the in-game skin is not iconic. That's to say, Bruce Campbell will not be the face used for the character. Nevertheless, fans of the franchise will be delighted to be able to cosplay like him in the metaverse.

2) Bonejamin

Although Bonejamin will be released at the end of October 27, 2022, he's already become a fan-favorite in Fortnite. This is largely because he looks like rapper Lil Uzi Vert or a bootleg version. While this is far from the truth, the community has decided to roll with it.

That said, the skin itself is pretty neat to look at. His 3D glasses and larger-than-life hairdo add to the theatrics as well. He may become the most sought-after skin this Halloween.

3) Ava

Ava is one of those must-have skins in-game. Her second style, known as Tarr, is one of the most adorable things to lay eyes on in Fortnite. The character is anything but spooky, with a single eye and locks of hair nearly reaching the ground.

Moreover, her set will contain many items, including loading screens, a back bling, a harvesting tool, and an emote. Even her weapon wrap looks amazing. Players looking forward to owning this bundle of joy will be able to do so on October 28, 2022.

4) Remi

Part Devil, a part teenage boy, Remi is one skins that look amazing at first glance. With anime-styled cosmetics becoming the norm in Fortnite, it's no surprise that the developers decided to bestow upon him the honor.

If the basic style is not enough to impress, his Nightcrawler-blue style allows him to be unique in-game. Adding a cherry on top, his battle-axe guitar harvesting tool and skateboard back bling adds a lot of personality to the skin. Those interested in purchasing the skin will have to wait until October 31, 2022.

5) Jack O'Sassin

As the skin's name would suggest, Jack O'Sassin is a character that has a carved-out pumpkin for the head. It's unclear how this weird predicament came to exist; nevertheless, here it is. The skin will be up for grabs from October 30 onward.

Given how fond the community is of assassins in Fortnite, this skin will perform rather well under the circumstances. While he's not the best-looking assassin in-game (that honor goes to John Wick), he is well-dressed and presentable.

6) Abyss

Abyss is one of the more generic-looking characters in Fortnite. No doubt the skin looks good, but there's not much going on to "impress" fans. She won't be spotted easily if placed in a locker with hundreds of other skins.

That said, her harvesting tool and back bling, on the other hand, do have a unique look. They fit in well with the Halloween theme and should help carry the skin in the item shop.

7) Vivica Saint

Although there have been plenty of vampires in Fortnite, Vivica Saint is rather dull. While her gimmick of having a nunchaku as a harvesting tool seems rad, there's not much else to show. It's almost as if the creator took a page of the Twight formula and applied it to the skin.

Although it's not necessarily "bad," it's just too bland. Given that other colorful skins such as Ava and Remi exist, this all-black gothic teen punk look has nothing substantial to offer. Those interested in buying this skin will be able to do so on October 25, 2022.
