Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 is on its way to becoming one of the best yet. With the introduction of Unreal Engine 5.1, new mechanics, and a storyline extending beyond the confines of Reality Zero, a lot is going on.

Not to mention, with the new Trail Thrasher Dirt Bikes added to the mix, getting around the island has never been this much fun. With Augments like Forecast coming into play, securing victory royales has never been more entertaining.

That said, the developers are far from done with adding content. According to leakers, they are hard at work churning out new variations in bikes, developing "Ultimate Guitar Hero" for Fortnite, and working on a new type of movement.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 will have new content before Winterfest 2022

1) "Cruiser" and "Sport" bikes are next on the list

Dirt Bikes were introduced to the game at the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1. The mobility they offer and tactical options make them one of the unique vehicles in-game. Players can rush opponents and stop a few feet away to open fire or close the gap and fire a few rounds at close-range using a shotgun.

This makes the vehicle deadly in-game, and most players avoid engaging those on dirt bikes without having a proper counter. By the looks of it, very soon, there will be two more variations added in-game.

As the names suggest, the "Cruiser" will likely be a heavier, armored variant of a bike that will look like an old-school Harley Davidson. It will likely feature less mobility but will offer more durability. Players may be able to mod this vehicle to perform better in combat situations.

On the other hand, the "Sport" variant will likely be a sports bike. It will feature heavier bodies and higher speeds and be challenging to control. As for hit-points, it will have more than a dirt bike but less of a "Cruiser."

While there's no timeline for either of these new vehicles, since they are in development, they may be added for Winterfest 2022. If this does not pass, post the new year, they may be added during a significant content update in January.

2) Coco collaboration

One of the weirdest items in development currently looks and functions like something from Fortnite's Save The World mode. Being dubbed the "Power Guitar," this upcoming item will allow players to destroy builds quickly.

According to leakers, players will have to match the tempo of the weapon/item to maximize its effectiveness. When synchronized with the rhythm, a powerful attack will be unleashed, and a 'boombox boom' effect will cause structures to take damage.

While there's no fixed timeline in place, this item seems to be in development and will be rolled out towards the end of Fortnite Chapter 4 season 1. Given how Epic Games introduces new items shortly before the next phase of the storyline can begin, this one will likely carry over to Chapter 4 Season 2.

On that note, players have been speculating that there may be a collaboration with Coco due to the item being a guitar. But that's an unlikely scenario. Given the amount of collaboration lined up, there's already too much going on at the moment.

3) Mirror's Edge in the metaverse

At the start of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 a new movement mechanic called "Hurdle" was added to the game. Rather than jumping over low obstacles and gaining useless airtime, players can now hurdle over them.

While this may not seem tactically beneficial initially, it allows players to micro-manage their movement and keep a low profile. When combined with the More Parkour Augment, players can regenerate energy after mantling or hurdling.

By the looks of things, this new movement type is one of many that will be added to the game. According to leakers, at least three more movement mechanics are in development: Wall Running, Jump Slide, and Double Jump.

"Wall Running'' will likely allow players to run horizontally along the wall. This will be useful when covering open ground or jumping over a pitfall. The "Jump Slide'' and "Double Jump" will also be helpful in close-range combat.

Players can go into a sliding pose after executing a jump, which helps slide into shotgun range or cover. Double jump, however, will allow players to clear significant gaps in terrain or climb higher than ever before. That said, it'll be interesting to see how Epic Games implements these dynamic parkour mechanics into Fortnite.
