Fortnite Chapter 4 to be set in Reality 153, new teaser suggests

According to leakers, Donald Mustard may have dropped a teaser or hint for Fortnite Chapter 4. Following the reveal of the key art for the Chapter 3 Season 4 Live Event, the CCO of Epic Games edited his location on Twitter.

He changed it from Reality Zero, the current reality in which the island exists, to Reality 153. At first, Loopers thought this reality was Paradigm's, but it has already been established that she's from Reality 659. Since this new reality wasn't hers, who could it belong to?

Although there's no conclusive evidence of who or what belongs to Reality 153, based on the storyline, a few guesses can be made, while they may not pan out in the long run, it puts into perspective just how hyped players are for Fortnite Chapter 4.

According to several notable leakers and theorists, such as FNChiefAko, Reality 153 could be a new Reality that The Zero Point will create. Its supposed purpose is for The Loop to stay there after Reality Zero is destroyed.

With the end of each chapter bringing forth the destruction of the island and reality, this theory is sound. To back it up, the in-game Fracture playlist has this description:

"The island's reality is deteriorating. It's up to you to reforge it."

An alternative theory suggests that rather than destroy Reality Zero, The Zero Point will move everything to Reality 153. Given that elements from Chapters 1 and 2 are present on the Chapter 3 map, it's possible that The Zero Point can manipulate space-time to move things around.

With that said, imagining The Zero Point moving or merging older realities to form a new one is not too outlandish. This could explain the line, "It's up to you to reforge it." While it's certain that players won't get the chance to pick and choose the realities being reforged, they will likely get to witness it in the Fracture live event.

Moving on from the islands, another theory suggests that Reality 153 may be home to none other than Midas. Since he's the only character who can combat Chrome, it's being speculated that players will visit his reality during the live event. He may also appear on the island in Fortnite Chapter 4.

However, the most probable character that inhabits Reality 153 is likely Geno. If this is true, players will be heading to the reality in which The Foundation and Jonesy are currently at. This makes a lot of sense, as it will greatly advance the current storyline.

That said, there's still no confirmation of anything at this point. With just 10 days to go until Fortnite Chapter 4, there's no telling what transpires. It has to be kept in mind that The Herald still needs to be done with Reality Zero. Depending on how the final days of Chapter 3 Season 4 turn out, the live event will follow suit.

Accordingly, the saga will continue via the upcoming live event in the form of limited gameplay, cutscenes, and cinematics. Whatever the outcome, the only thing that can be said for certain is that Fortnite Chapter 4 is going to be another feather added to Epic Games' hat.
