The Fortnitemares 2022 update has added a lot of new content to Fortnite Battle Royale. Aside from gameplay changes, the Halloween event, and alterations to the island, players can earn free cosmetic items while playing the game.

Three free items can be obtained by completing Fortnite Halloween quests. All of them have a Chrome theme, which makes them perfect for Chapter 3 Season 4.

The new Fortnite Battle Royale event has brought numerous cosmetic items to the game. From Fortnite survey skins to other offerings, there is no doubt that a lot of players will drastically increase the size of their lockers.

The Fortnite Halloween event has brought many new quests as well. However, only two are available at the moment and you will have to complete them in order to unlock all the free cosmetics.

Here is a list of the offerings that can be obtained for free:

• Everything's End Glider
• Chrome Cage Back Bling
• Unmaker Pickaxe

To unlock the glider, you will have to complete five Fortnitemares 2022 quests, while the back bling will require completion of 13. The pickaxe is the ultimate reward and you will have to complete 25 tasks in total to obtain it.

Keep in mind that these three items cannot be obtained on the first day of the update. The glider requires you to complete five quests, which means that you will be able to obtain it on Thursday, October 20, at the very least.

Epic Games will release two quests every single day during the event, i.e., a total of 28. These tasks will be available until Tuesday, November 1, post which you will not be able to unlock the exclusive Fortnitemares 2022 cosmetics.

How to complete Day 1 quests

With the release of the Fortnite Halloween event, Epic Games have released the Howler Claws, a new Mythic item. It can be used to deal damage and to track enemies, which makes it very entertaining.

The first day of the new update is all about this item. To progress through the special questline and unlock the offered rewards, you will have to complete these two quests:

• Dance on an Alteration Altar to get the Howler Claws
• Hit an opponent while Wolfscent is active

These challenges are extremely easy and can be done quickly by landing on one of the many Alteration Altars that can be found all over the island. Once you've landed, simply use the emote button to get the Howler Claws, then hit an enemy while Wolfscent is active.

In addition to progressing through the questline, each quest will reward you with 15,000 XP, which is great for completing the current Battle Pass.
