The next Fortnite update will bring a lot of new content to the popular video game. It is scheduled to release on Tuesday, November 1, and will be the third major update of Chapter 3 Season 4.
The update will conclude the Fortnitemares 2022 event. However, Epic Games will keep some parts of it in the game and even release more free cosmetics that players will be able to earn. Furthermore, the Chrome Punk outfit will most likely be released with the upcoming Fortnite update.
Since Chapter 3 Season 5 begins in early December, Epic may also release some files regarding the upcoming live event. Additionally, there will be more map changes, and the Herald outfit will finally be obtainable.
Next Fortnite update will reveal secret cosmetic items
The Herald is the main antagonist of the current season of Fortnite. She works for The Nothing and resides over her sanctum, where players can fight her and obtain her Mythic weapon.
With the release of the next update, this character will be obtainable from the Battle Pass. Her matching accessories, such as a pickaxe and back bling, will also be unlockable.
The update will also reveal other cosmetics found on the second page of the Herald Battle Pass section. At the moment, no one knows what these cosmetics are, but there is a chance that Epic Games will release another secret skin.
Regarding cosmetic items, Epic will release new Horde Rush challenges that will grant free rewards. These challenges will stay in the game until November 15 and will be removed with the release of the v22.40 Fortnite update.
The Chrome Punk outfit was leaked with the v22.20 update. However, Epic Games hasn't released it to the game yet. There are some theories that the outfit will be obtained through the Horde Rush challenges, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
Besides the free rewards, the upcoming Fortnite update will add a lot of new skins that will hit the item shop. Considering that we are entering the season's final weeks, more villain skins could come out soon.
Map and gameplay changes
The November 1 update will also bring new map changes. Chrome keeps spreading all over the island, and it's just a matter of time before it completely takes over.
The update could potentially bring Klombos back as well. Chrome is very close to the Klombo skull near the Behemoth Bridge, and there is a chance that it will revive the popular animals and bring them back to the game.
Considering that the v22.30 update is a major one, Epic Games will likely bring several gameplay changes. These could include balance changes, new mechanics, or changes to the loot pool.
The development team was supposed to unvault planes with the v22.20 content update, but this did not happen. Due to this, we expect Epic to bring this vehicle back with the November 1 update.
Many new items will also come to the game, including new potential collaborations and weekly quests.
