Fortnitemares 2022 Leaks: 3 new survey skins, Rick & Morty collab, Evil Dead's Ash, and more

Fortnitemares is one of the best annual periods for the game. The event is officially here thanks to the latest update. It introduces several new changes, as Epic Games mentioned on their blog:

"Turning into a monster is just one part of Fortnitemares 2022. Also complete Quests for special rewards, take down Cube Monsters in Zero Build Horde Rush, have a party of your own with unvaulted items, and more. Fortnitemares 2022 runs until November 1 at 2 AM ET!"

Much of the event is already here, like map changes, new game modes, and more, and there's plenty more on the horizon. Here's what has been leaked and what to expect to see this Halloween season.

Fortnitemares leaks and upcoming skins

Epic Games is introducing three new survey skins, as spotted by HYPEX. These were shown off in the Fortnitemares trailer and look to be joining the game very soon. Survey skins are skins that Epic Games puts in a questionnaire to gauge player interest.

This is not the first time a survey has gone out before skins were later added. Epic probably intends on introducing most if not all of these skins, but the more popular ones stand a better chance. These three must have been popular enough.

This is not a leak as the skins are officially in the Item Shop, but Fortnitemares is also seeing a Rick & Morty collaboration with a few bundles available.

Rick Sanchez was first added to the game for the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass, but now Morty Smith, Summer Smith and other characters from the show are getting the skin treatment.

The show is about to conclude its sixth season, so the timing works out. This isn't much a Fortnitemares crossover as Rick & Morty isn't a horror show, but regardless, it is there for players.

However, there is a collaboration coming during this event. The Halloween season wouldn't be complete without one, so Epic Games is bringing Ash from the Evil Dead franchise into the game.

Ash is the protagonist of one of the most iconic horror franchises in cinematic history. Now, he's a part of one of the most iconic video games.

HYPEX also mentions that a free skin will be available during the event.

The Chrome coloring of the skin matches the storyline as the island continues to see chrome everywhere. The pumpkin head is a staple for a Halloween skin, so it's perfect for this time of year in Chapter 3 Season 4.

This is only the first day of the update, so there will probably be a lot more to come in the coming weeks. The event will last until November 1, so these leaks are probably not all-inclusive.
