Expeditions for LEGO Fortnite reportedly coming soon

LEGO Fortnite has been the center of attention since its release towards the end of 2023. Although the mode is still in its infancy, Epic Games is creating new content for it at regular intervals. With the arrival of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Super, we're on the cusp of receiving a major update for LEGO Fortnite.

According to the reliable leaker @Loolo_WRLD, alongside his compadres, @blortzen and @Maeko_sp, we could get a major update on June 17. 2025. This also aligns with the official update dates for the current Fortnite season. That said, here is everything we know about "Mars".

According to leaks, the "Mars" mode in Fortnite will introduce expeditions. Players will be able to board the Battle Bus in-game and use it to travel to these locations. This will be similar to how you get to the Lost Isles in LEGO.

Here are the locations you should be able to travel to:

Utopia City
The Academy
"VillianHQ"
Academy (Center, Soccer, Spawn)
Busted Bridge (Parking, Shore)
City (Apartments, City Center, City Hall)
Excavations (Spire Excavation Cliff, Spire Excavation Entrance, Spire Excavation Glacier) Temple (Entrance, Gong, Podium, Square, Training Ground)

While the names of these locations provide context, they may just be placeholders for the time being. As such, the actual locations could vary. Nevertheless, this gives us a good idea of many expeditions we could have access to. For those wondering if this is in some way related to Expedition 33, you'd be wrong.

In addition to new places to explore, we'll likely have new recipes added to the game. This could include weapons, consumables, buildables, and perhaps even vehicles. With LEGO themselves teasing things, we could expect some information over the weekend. However, for the time being, this is everything we know.

All in all, this next update for LEGO Fortnite could be permanent or perhaps seasonal. Whichever case, there's bound to be plenty to do, and since you will get playtime XP from this mode, you won't be missing out on leveling up your Battle Pass. And at the end of the day, it's optional, so you won't miss out on anything if you don't want to try it.
