Hero Ranks in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is a new gameplay mechanic to be added to this season of Super. It is a metric that calculates your rank as a hero in the season. Each player begins a match with a C before rising through the ranks of B, A, S, and S+.

The Hero Rank is also shared among members of the party, affecting the overall ranking in each team. Players can increase their ranks through actions such as eliminating enemy players, surviving storm phases, returning sprites to their shrines, and even eliminating henchmen across the map.

Additionally, increasing the Hero Ranks boosts the powers and skills of all boons in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, increasing their buffs or reducing their cooldown timer. This makes it ideal to enhance the effects of these augmentations and the gameplay experience.

Apart from this, every time a player ranks up, they receive 100 Effective Health. They will then gain access to Hero Caches — unique chests filled with rare and exotic loot that are tier-locked. Players will get immediate access to C-rank Caches, but must level up to unlock better loot in the higher-ranking ones.
