Fortnite x Fallout collaboration confirmed for Chapter 5 Season 3

Epic Games has confirmed the Fortnite x Fallout collaboration for Chapter 5 Season 3. After years of the community asking for a crossover, it seems that the developers have finally done something about it. To top things off, since the teaser was revealed prior to the next season's start, the collaboration will likely not be limited to Battle Royale.

It may also come to LEGO Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival. In fact, given the crossover's sheer scope, it could be featured on the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass as well. Moreover, considering the hype surrounding Fallout Season 1, the community is excited about the possibilities this crossover will bring. That being said, here is everything we know about the new collaboration.

Fortnite x Fallout collaboration will likely introduce the Apocalyptic theme for Chapter 5 Season 3

Based on the teaser showcased, two things can be confirmed: The Brother Of Steel will play a role in Chapter 5 Season 3, and they will have a Named Location/Landmark for players to visit in-game.

By the looks of things, it will be located in a desert biome. This lines up with the leaked Fortnite roadmap for 2024 that showcases a desert biome in a key art. Joining the dots, it's clear to see that things are falling into place.

Coming back to the Brotherhood Of Steel, the T-60 power armor from the Fallout franchise can be seen in the teaser. It is unclear if this will be another bulky skin like Iron Man Zero or a new mech that players will be able to pilot. While having it featured as a cosmetic would be cool, being able to pilot it would be even more amazing.

That said, with the Fortnite x Fallout now confirmed, it is being theorized that the Sandstorm that's currently raging in-game is being created by The Prydwen. This is the main airship that belongs to the Brotherhood Of Steel. If this is indeed going to be featured in-game, Vertibirds could be added in as well.

Lastly, it goes without saying that since Fallout is based in a post-apocalyptic setting, this collaboration will quite literally introduce the theme for Chapter 5 Season 3. Aside from the Brotherhood Of Steel, other colorful factions and characters from the aforementioned franchise could be added.

There is scope for Lucy MacLean, Maximus, and Cooper (The Ghoul) to be featured in-game as skins or NPCs. Weapons from the franchise could also find their way into the loot pool in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

Truth be told, the teaser is likely just the tip of the iceberg. The Fortnite x Fallout collaboration could be absolutely massive in size and scale. Thankfully, you will not have to wait long to find out as the Fortnite x Fallout will go live on May 24, 2024.
