The Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration is finally true, and despite Epic Games not revealing things in any official capacity yet, there are numerous telltale signs. The biggest one, perhaps, is the release of characters from Fox TV shows such as Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, and King of the Hill. With The Simpsons also part of the TV network, it goes without saying, they are next on the list.
This is where leakers and data-miners come into the picture. Two prominent individuals, @Loolo_WRLD and @Egyptian_Leaker, have been providing first-hand information about the upcoming Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration. It will be a long time before it can kick off, but we do know a few facets of it. Here's more on the topic at hand.

Starting with the timeline, it is being speculated that the Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration is slated to begin in November. Additionally, it will last for only a month. However, it will not be part of the main Battle Royale/Zero Build experience.
It will have a dedicated lobby of its own that will feature a 40-player experience on a Reload-size map. This suggests that gameplay will be fast, and each session could last less than the usual 20 minutes of a standard Battle Royale/Zero Build match. It will also feature Boons and other mechanics that you would expect from a fully fleshed-out experience.
There is also a possibility that the Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration could replace the main Battle Royale/Zero Build experience for a month. If such is the case, we would see Chapter 7 Season 1 (which is rumored to be created in UEFN) kick off afterwards.
Lastly, we will most definitely see characters from The Simpsons inducted into the Metaverse once the collaboration goes live. There's no official list at the moment, but based on popular demand, we will see Homer, Marge, Lisa, and Bart added to the game as Outfits. With the recent arrival of Hank Hill, Bob Belcher, and Cleveland Brown in Fortnite, Fox is bound to push for more characters.
That is about everything we know about the upcoming Fortnite x Simpsons collaboration. We should get more information once Chapter 6 Season 3 Super ends. Until then, there's plenty to do in-game, especially if you own the Battle Pass.
