Where to find Dial-A-Drop in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4

Thanks to the latest Fortnite weekly update, the Dial-A-Drop and many other new additions are here. The item in question can help players in different ways, making it one of the most valuable additions in Chapter 3 Season 4.

Since its brand new, not many players have had the opportunity to use it just yet. However, since it's so useful, it is pertinent to find one in every match. Here are the places you can do just that, as well as how to use the item.

A guide to Dial-A-Drop in latest Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 update

This item comes in the Rare rarity, so it won't be a terribly common find. Still, there are a few places you can look.

Option 1: Chests

Chests can have Dial-A-Drops in them. They will pop out as if they are healing or explosive/throwable items. A gun, ammo, and a material will drop from the chest, and there's a chance the final item will be a Dial-A-Drop.

When you see a chest, go up to it and hold the button to interact with it. Alternatively, by breaking whatever the chest is sitting on, all the items will drop out.

Chests are found all over the place, but large POIs like Tilted Towers and Rave Cave have the highest count this season. Head there and start opening them up to hopefully find a Dial-A-Drop in Chapter 3 Season 4.

Option 2: Floor loot

Dial-A-Drops can also be found on the floor, and will be sitting there for everyone to see. So, if you see a purple item on the ground nearby, especially one without any ammo next to it, you should go check because it's probably a Dial-A-Drop.

Simply go over to it and pick it up, potentially dropping an item for it, to take it off the ground this season.

Option 3: Supply drop

In a bit of irony, supply drops can drop Dial-A-Drops, which will then call in more of the former. These drop randomly towards the end of a match. When you hear its sound, check your map to see if you are close by. If so, then you can travel to the spot and wait or shoot the supply drop down.

There's no guarantee it will have a Dial-A-Drop, but there's a pretty good chance.

Once you have a Dial-A-Drop, here's how to use it:

1. Use the item by firing it as if it's a gun.
2. Request either a Health Drop, Vehicle Drop, or Supply Drop.
3. Wait for the drop to fall to the ground.
4. Open it by interacting with it.

It will drop to the ground, but you can also shoot it down like a regular supply drop. Whether the Fortnite item is a modded vehicle or heals, it will fall out and you can pick it up and use it.
