Where to find Exotic weapons in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

To the community's delight, there are a total of six Exotic weapons present in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. However, this time around, players cannot buy them from NPCs. They can only be obtained via Holo-Chests that are scattered all over the map. With that said, here's the list of all the Exotic weapons that are available in Chapter 4 Season 2:

While these weapons aren't easy to come by, especially considering that players need 'Keys' to open Holo-Chests to get the weapons, this task isn't entirely impossible. Players can obtain 'Keys' by either buying them from the NPC known as CRZ-8 or by obtaining the Reality Augment called Keymaster.

Additionally, 'Keys' can also be obtained by looting chests and by eliminating opponents that have them. Although the latter method is riskier, this shouldn't be too much of a problem for those who enjoy getting into fights in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

There are five very distinct Heisted Exotic weapons in Chapter 4 Season 2. They were introduced last season to spruce up the overall gameplay experience and were part of the 'Most Wanted' side-story. While they do look like regular weapons, what sets them apart is their functionality. Here's a brief description of each Heisted Exotic weapon:

1) Heisted Run N' Gun SMG

Equipping the Heisted Run N' Gun SMG gives players the 'Slap' effect. While holding this weapon, they can Sprint without having to stop. Additionally, while Sprinting, the weapon will auto-reload. For those who enjoy the 'run-and-gun' style of combat, this is the perfect mid-range weapon.

2) Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle

As its name suggests, the Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle fires explosive rounds at opponents. These bullets deal splash damage to anything within a small radius. It's perfect for taking out groups of enemies that are huddled together or for destroying weak cover.

3) Heisted Accelerant Shotgun

While the Heisted Accelerant Shotgun is no different from any other shotgun in terms of design, it does grant players the 'Pepper' effect. When fired, it will steadily increase the weapon's fire-rate up to a threshold of 50%. Essentially, it becomes a semi-automatic weapon rather than a shotgun.

4) Heisted Blink Mag SMG

The Heisted Blink Mag SMG takes the 'spray-and-pray' style of combat to completely new heights. When the weapon is being reloaded, players will gain the 'Zero Point Dash' effect. This will allow them to 'dash' through the air to avoid taking damage or rapidly approach their target.

5) Heisted Breacher Shotgun

Last but most certainly not least is the Heisted Breacher Shotgun. A single slug fired from this weapon deals 700 damage to structures. Players can use it to quite literally destroy any cover that an opponent might be hiding behind. This is rather useful when fighting in POIs such as Mega City.

What other weapons/items are considered "Exotic' in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?

In addition to the Heisted Exotics mentioned above, players may also come across the Dragon's Breath Sniper in Holo-Chests. As the name suggests, this weapon can set opponents and numerous structures on fire with a single shot. Since fire damage in Fortnite ignores shields, players can use this to chip away at an opponent's health over time.

Furthermore, players can obtain the Chug Cannon in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 by selecting the Chug Gunner Reality Augment. An alternative method to this would be eliminating a Loot Llama to obtain this Exotic item. That said, the former method is far more viable given how rare Loot Llamas are in-game.
