The Dutch Grand Prix is a Formula One race held at Circuit Zandvoort, North-Holland, the Netherlands from 1948 to 1985 and due to be held from 2021. The race would be the first home race for the rising Formula One star Max Verstappen.
Racing History
The circuit has seen multiple reconfigurations and reconstructions ever since it stopped hosting Formula One races. The circuit was one of the regular destinations for the Formula One circus until 1985.
The CIrcuit has a rich history of racing but will see multiple modifications being made to the circuit keeping in mind the modern-day safety parameters. The Circuit in its old iteration had Ferrari as one of its most successful constructors with 9 wins. Lotus had 6 wins with Mclaren the third most successful team with 3 wins.
In terms of drivers, Jim Clark would clock 4 wins on this track with Niki Lauda and Sir Jackie Stewart winning 3 races each.
The race is scheduled to be held on 5 September 2021 this season.
