The Indian Super League (ISL) has been blessed with some great shot-stoppers. Indian goalkeepers have proved their mettle under the sticks. The overseas goalkeepers have also been impressive. ISL 2023-24 is set to get rolling again in the year and fans are waiting for the action to kickstart.


India no.1 and current Bengaluru FC goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu ranks top of the charts when it comes to clean sheets. Sandhu’s stint at Norweign side Stabaek FC after his East Bengal days changed him as a goalkeeper. He has kept 29 clean sheets in 77 games which is a 37.66% clean sheet rate.

India goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya is ranked second with 29 clean sheets in 79 games. Bhattacharya has a cleansheet rate i.e 36.71% courtesy.


Amrinder Singh is ranked third in the all time clean sheets standings with 29 clean sheets in 95 games with a 30.53% clean sheet rate. Indian keepers like Subrata Pal, Rehenesh TP, and Vishal Kaith are ranked next in the list.


The 2020/21 season Amrinder Singh, Arindam Bhattacharja and TP Rehenesh topped the lists with the most number of clean sheets.


With an 11-team ISL upon the 2022 season, fans can expect more goalkeepers to arrive on the scene with bigger records.
