Last Season La Liga Table Toppers were FC Barcelona as they won their 26th La Liga Title Finishing ahead of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid in Title Race. This was FC Barcelona's 8th La Liga Title in 11 years making them the most successful club in La Liga for this past Decade.
The La Liga Champions are in full mood to defend their Title in 2019-20 season as they have signed Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid for a fee of €120m. Barcelona is now the team with most lethal attack in Spain as well as in all Europe.
With the inclusion of Griezmann it will be interesting to see how Barcelona will line up this season against big teams. They have many big guns in attack with the likes of Luis Suarez, Dembele, Coutinho, Lionel messi and Griezmann. With all these options in attack it will be difficult decision for valverde to select the starting line-up.
La Liga 2018-19 was one of the worst season for Real Madrid as they finished 3rd in La Liga Standings behind winners FC Barcelona and Runner Ups Atletico Madrid. With Departure of both Zidane and Ronaldo Before the start of last season, Los Blancos Suffered alot in Domestic as well as European competitions.
Season 2018-19 saw sacking of two newly appointed Real Madrid Manager Julen Lopetegui and Interim Manager Santiago Solari before Re-appointment of Zinedine Zidane. Things were still messy for Los Blancos after the return of zidane as Real Madrid finished 19 points behind FC Barcelona and 8 points behind Atletico Madrid as per La Liga Standings.
Zidane and his men are looking to cover up the blunder of last season as they have completely transformed the team with 5 new signings which includes two lethal attackers Luka jovic and Eden Hazard. With 5 new players coming in, Zidane has a new challenge ahead of him, a challenge of building the team from the scratch which is surely gonna test his managerial skills.
When Zidane newly joined Real Madrid in 2015-16 Season he already had a team built for him which could have easily finished at the top of the La Liga Standings, but this time that is not the case, this time Los Blancos are in a vulnerable state and this new season is going tell wether zidane is the right man for the job or not.
It will be intresting to see where Atletico Madrid ends up in 2019-20 season. With the arrival of young sensation Joao Felix to replace their star striker Antoine Griezmann, Atletico madrid 's attack have turned into one of the most lethal attacks in la liga with Diego Costa and Alvaro Morata alongside him.
Atletico Madrid are looking to give tough competition to all the la liga teams this season and have sent out the message that they are playing for keeps. Atletico Madrid have high hopes to finish at the top of La Liga Table.
