Kyle Kirkwood is an American racing driver who drives the Dallara-Honda for the Andretti Global IndyCar Racing team. He was born on October 19, 1998, in Florida, United States. In his early days, Kirkwood was sent to live with foster parents named Phil and Joanee Simpson in the United States. He also has a younger foster sister. In Florida, he came across racing and karting with his native friend Oliver Askew and started karting at a young age.

He is the only driver who has won a championship across all divisions through the ladder to the IndyCar Racing Championship. Kirkwood won the USF 2000 Racing Series in 2018 and went on to win the USF Pro 2000 Racing Series and the Indy NXT Firestone in 2021. In addition to Indy NXT, he competes in IMSA Endurance Racing for Vasser Sullivan Racing.
