Mayank Agarwal (winning captain): We were thinking we were 5-7 short but we knew chasing 180 was never going to be easy especially if we got wickets upfront and we did exactly that. Nothing, absolutely nothing (on what he told Livingstone before the match). Vaibhav was with ads a couple of years back so we saw the talent there. He is different, young and has got some really good skills. Anil bhai had seen Jitesh when he was in MI. The fantastic stuff about Jitesh is his attitude, the way he keeps, the way he bats. We're definitely going to play hard cricket. We just have to be emotionally intelligent.

Liam Livingstone (Player of the Match): The first two games did not quite go my way so it was nice to contribute to a win. We got to a target which we thought was defendable and our seamers were outstanding in the powerplay. We got to try to be as smart as we can but all our conversations have been to be about trying to be as aggressive and exciting as we can. I'm playing my own way, things have not quite gone my way. Hopefully this will give me some confidence going forward. (on bowling) It's something i really enjoy and have been practicing. Thankfully, I bowled more than three balls in this game (smiles). Hopefully, I can keep contributing.

Shikhar Dhawan: Feels great. Great comeback by the team. Amazing, the way the guys played. (On Arora) He was doing that in the nets as well and troubling us. That's why he's got his debut. The way he bowled in line and length to make the most of the surface was brilliant. He's got a sense of calmness as well. I'm feeling good about my game. With two early wickets down, it was a bit tricky. Livingstone played an exceptional knock, so I knew I had to play the supporting role. Would like to convert these 30s into much bigger scores. When we lost early wickets, we didn't know we'll go on to make a big score. It's not easy to defend a total with the dew coming in, so we knew early wickets would be key.

Ravindra Jadeja (CSK captain): We lost too many wickets in the powerplay and didn't find the momentum from ball one. We have to find a way to get better and come back stronger. (On Gaikwad) We need to give him confidence and back him, We know he's a very good player and continued to back him. (On Dube) He has been batting well. Keeping him in a good frame of mind will be key. Definitely, we will try out best, work hard and come back stronger.

Dear oh dear, Chennai Super Kings have slumped to their third consecutive defeat in this tournament and it has been an all-round performance from the Punjab Kings that has handed them yet another loss. Chasing 181 runs was not too big a task but wickets at regular intervals pegged back Chennai.

Debutant Vaibhav Arora was stupendous with the ball in hand, swinging it both ways and extracting the priced wickets of Uthappa and Moeen Ali. Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh chipped in with one wicket as well which resulted in CSK losing four wickets in the powerplay itself. From there on, it was going to be a daunting task.

Credit to Shivam Dube, he tried his best, with a blistering 57-run knock in quick time which gave hope to the CSK fans. However, the required run-rate proved to be far too great for even Dube and he perished in an attempt to get the required runs under his belt. MSD played a supporting role but in the end, the mountain proved to be far too big to scale. Livingstone has been absolutely fantastic in both departments and got two wickets too to add to CSK's misery.
