After the match, Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso embrace, shake hands, and hug. Cody then celebrates as the show goes off the air.

Jey superkicks Cody and shouts for him to get up. Jey hits another and then a Spear. Jey then calls for the end and climbs the ropes for a Uso Splash.

Cody then runs up the ropes and hits a cutter from the top, and both men crash! Rhodes fires up and hits the Cross Rhodes for the win!

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton is now confirmed for Night of Champions. What a match!

Cody goes for the Disaster Kick, but Jey avoids it. Jey hits a Spear! Cody kicks out. Jey runs at Cody, but eats a boot. Rhodes then hits a Super Cody Cutter for a near fall!

Cody goes for Cross Rhodes, but Jey counters and hits it himself! This was almost over!

Back from break, and the two trade strikes again. Jey hits an Orton-like powerslam. Jey goes for a Cross Rhodes, but Cody counters and hits the Cody Cutter for a near fall!

Cody and Jey battle it out and trade blows. The crowd chants This is awesome. Then Cody hits a massive superplex on Jey Uso. Both men are down and exhausted as we go to break.

After the break, Jey Uso attempts a splash but Cody counters into a Kimura. Jey counters that and locks in a sleeper. Cody powers out and sends Jey Uso over the top to the floor!

Cody stealing Brock Lesnar's return is interesting. Teasing a return?

Cody and Jey go back and forth, and Cody hits some big arm drags. The crowd is chanting for both on and off. Loud "Cody.. Cody Rhodes" chants as Cody locks in a headlock. Jey counters, but Cody goes for the Cross Rhodes. Jey counters and goes for a Superkick.

Jey then yeets at Rhodes.

Jey Uso does an encore, and then Cody Rhodes makes his way out. Big match feel.

The winner fights Randy Orton at Night of Champions to be King of the Ring. The two shake hands to start and get a massive pop.

After the ad, we get a card rundown for Night of Champions. John Cena vs. CM Punk, Jacob Fatu vs. Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez, Jade Cargill vs. Asuka, and the King of the Ring finals.

Then Jey Uso is seen with the fans as he makes his way out for his entrance!

Back from break, Rhea Ripley confronts Adam Pearce. She wants Raquel Rodriguez one-on-one! Adam Pearce agreed to it.

From there, we go to a video package for John Cena vs. CM Punk.

Notably, during the break, IYO SKY and Asuka had a backstage segment teasing a match.

Next, Raquel Rodriguez calls out Rhea Ripley and blames Mami for her not winning Queen of the Ring. Rhea comes out to a huge pop, and they start to brawl. They fight on the floor, and Raquel pulls out a table! She pushes it in the ring, and Rhea jumps off the table and strikes Raquel. She slams Raquel into the steel steps and smirks, seeing the table.

She sets it up and goes to Riptide Raquel, but Roxanne Perez shows up! Roxanne fights Rhea, but gets dropped. Raquel then powerbombs Rhea through the table! WOW!

Backstage, Chad Gable is with Ivy Nile. He says she is his favorite student, but mentions her struggles with Stephanie Vaquer. He cuts it short when he sees Penta. He says it was Gable's pleasure to watch Bron Breakker destroy Penta earlier. He teases ripping his mask off, and Penta kicks Chad. He then does The Sacrifice arm breaker as The Creeds rush over to check on him. Was Gable injured?!

Becky and Bayley fight on the floor, and Becky sends Bayley over the announce table and buries her in chairs to try to get a count-out victory. Lyra shows up to help Bayley, but it leads to chaos, including Becky attacking Lyra. Bayley throws Becky over the table this time and then into the ring post.

Bayley throws Becky back into the ring, but Lyra attacks Becky! The referee calls for the bell. This one is over via DQ.

Becky Lynch defeats Bayley via disqualification

Becky celebrates while Bayley and Lyra fight in the ring.

Becky manages to hit a huge superplex on Bayley. She locks in an armbar, but Bayley counters. The two exchange multiple counters. Bayley locks in a Half Crab because she can't hold both legs with her bad arm. Becky gets to the ropes.

Bayley hits a forearm, but Becky kicks Bayley. They begin to trade strikes. The crowd yay/boos with most crowd yaying for Bayley. The Role Model then hits the Man Handle Slam, but Becky rolls out of the ring!

Back from break, and Bayley's arm is in rough shape. Becky hits a brutal belly-to-back suplex, but Bayley recovers and hits the Bayley to Belly for a near fall! The crowd is split with "let's go Bayley" and "let's go Becky" chants, but the Bayley ones are louder.

Bayley hits a running sunset flip into the buckle for a near fall.

Besides that heartbreaking story, Bayley and Becky brawl, and Bayley gets the advantage early. She hits a diving elbow drop to a standing Becky to the floor.

Becky keeps attempting to target the arm, but Bayley outmatches her. Things then go awry when Becky drops Bayley and hangs her arm up on the ropes! Bayley crashes hard down to the floor. OUCH.

Becky Lynch vs. Bayley

The Women's Intercontinental Championship is on the line. Bayley is wearing her WrestleMania gear that Becky prevented her from wearing due to the attack ahead of The Show of Shows.

Jackie Redmond interviews Becky Lynch, who claims Lyra and Bayley are working together. Jackie then talks to Sami Zayn and asks how he's processing such a tough loss. Karrion Kross interrupts Sami. Kross says Sami had him, and he believed everything he said.. then Sami lost. He asks when Zayn is going to understand he'll never be world champion.

Sami then punches Karrion and knocks him down! Sami says he's done talking to Karrion. He says he talked to Adam Pearce, and their match is official. Kross and Scarlett then laugh as Sami storms off.

Gunther says Goldberg is 58 years old and can't tie Gunther's boots. Gunther apologizes to Goldberg's kid and wife for what he will do to him. He says it is his responsibility to kill the legacy and myth of Goldberg. WOW. Incredible promo.

Next up, Gunther makes his way out. He says last week was supposed to be his celebration, but Bill Goldberg interrupted it. Gunther says most people get a spear and a jackhammer and lose. He says Goldberg was the most destructive man of his generation, but it isn't 1999 anymore. He says he's the guy and the most talented man in wrestling.

After the break, Sheamus is with Akira Tozawa, Natalya, and Maxxine Dupri. He says Natalya and Maxxine have a chance at winning gold. Then Rusev shows up. He tells Akira and the others to leave. Rusev says Sheamus claims to be people's friend but stabs them in the back. Rusev says he does his damage in the ring while Sheamus does it in the back.

Sheamus says he's tired of talking and tells Rusev to put up or shut up. Rusev smirks and says he'll make Sheamus remember this.

Jade Cargill goes up to the ramp and poses by the crown, and Asuka comes out. They eye each other and the crown. They will fight for the crown on Saturday!

Roxanne hits a tilt-a-whirl facebuster and the SCORPIO RISING kick for a near fall! Jade recovers and hits a nasty powerbomb on Roxanne. The referee doesn't count for some reason, but after that botch, Jade hits the Jaded for the win!

Despite Jade's issues, she catches Roxanne and hits a huge fallaway slam and kips up. She licks at Roxanne and slams her down! That lick will probably go viral. Roxanne goes to fight Jade and eats a BRUTAL superkick. Roxanne counters the Jaded for a near fall, then hits a superkick of her own.

Back from break, and Roxanne is working on Jade's leg. She tries to fight back, but Roxanne locks in a sleeper. Jade's knee is bad, and she collapses to the mat, which commentary points out.

This one begins with Roxanne Perez avoiding Jade Cargill. She keeps running, but Jade keeps chasing her. Eventually, Jade drops Roxanne face-first in the ring. Jade smacks Roxanne and hurts her own hand doing it. OUCH.

Perez runs away again, and Jade does push-ups. Jade chases Roxanne again and grabs her this time. As she tries to carry her up the stairs, Roxanne slides down and Jade's leg gets caught in the steps. Roxanne hits a big dropkick, and Jade screams out in pain!

After the break, Lyra Valkyria talks to Bayley backstage. Lyra tries to wish Bayley good luck, but The Role Model gives her attitude. Bayley apologizes and says the match has just been on her mind. She says Lyra gets first dibs if she wins and they're cool. Is Bayley turning heel?

Backstage, Finn Balor is all smiles despite Liv being injured. He gets into an argument with Raquel Rodriguez, and she snaps. He encourages her to use that anger on Rhea Ripley. Dominik says he misses Liv, but then gives attention to Roxanne Perez.

From there, Jade Cargill's music hits!

Goldberg gets bleeped out, but says he is going to beat the "f" out of Gunther. Obviously, the f-word was censored. Michael Cole says he also asked Goldberg if this was definitely his last match, and he said it was. Cole says he asked Goldberg off-camera what if he wins the world title, and Goldberg seemingly played coy.

Next, we get an exclusive interview with Michael Cole and Goldberg. Cole talks about what happened between Gunther and Goldberg at Bad Blood last year. Goldberg said he brought his family to a show, and Gunther disrespected him. Goldberg said Gunther embarrassed him in front of his wife and son. Goldberg said he was embarrassed in front of his fans in his adopted hometown of Atlanta, so he was never letting him get away with this.

Goldberg says nobody will talk to him like that and get away with it. Goldberg brings up how he wanted a retirement match and says Gunther basically put himself in that spot.

After the new teaser of an alliance between Grayson Waller and The New Day, we go to break.

Next, Michael Cole discusses the injury to Liv Morgan. He says she'll be out for several months. Adam Pearce then reveals Dominik Mysterio is also hurt, and AJ Styles' match with Dirty Dom at Night of Champions is OFF. AJ says Dom is ducking him, but Pearce says it's just postponed and he'll be first in line.

The New Day then shows up, and Adam Pearce reveals they'll take on Finn Balor and JD McDonagh next week. They storm off mad, and Grayson Waller tells Pearce to treat his mates, The New Day, better.

Post-match, Seth Rollins comes down and celebrates with Bron. He then talks to Penta, who is in pain, saying this is the one warning to stay out of his way. Will Penta listen?

Penta hit the ropes and jumps to the second rope. He dives back and is NAILED with a Spear. This one is over.

Bron Breakker defeats Penta via pinfall

After the Frankensteiner tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, Bron goes for a Spear but eats a Superkick. Bron grabs Penta but eats a DDT this time! Penta then hits a Mexican Destroyer, but BRON KICKS OUT AT TWO!

Penta begins to fire back and hits a huge kick, but he's limping. Bron attempts to stop a backstabber, but Penta hits a suplex. He goes for a Mexican Destroyer, but Breakker stops it. Breakker hits a high knee and a Frankensteiner for the near fall!

During the break, Bron and Penta nailed a TERRIFYING spot with Penta being suplexed stomach-first onto the ring post, and he fell to the floor. Bron then did his clothesline from the apron onto the announce table.

Back from break and after seeing those replays, Bron is in full control. Penta is hurting. Was that suplex a bad botch or just a scary spot?

Seth Rollins noted earlier that Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker are the "future" of WWE, and he is the "past and present".

Bron Breakker says Penta has been trying to keep up with him ever since he got here. Bron then knocks Penta off the ropes onto the apron. Penta hits a chop and then a rana from the apron into the ring! Penta hits a series of kicks, but Bron shakes it off. He charges and goes over the ropes. Penta went for a dive, but Bron catches him.

Penta slides out and pushes Bron into the ring post. He then hits a huge dive!

From then on, Penta is in big trouble. The luchador gets thrown around, and Bron repeatedly hits big shoulder thrusts in the corner. He is now targeting Penta's ribs just like Penta targeted his.

Bron hits an INSANE clothesline that Michael Cole says is 23 miles per hour. That's an insane stat.

Back from break, and Penta vs. Bron Breakker is underway.

Penta hits a big springboard crossbody and then a kick in the corner. He does his hanging dropkick, and Bron's ribs are killing him. Could he be hurt?

Penta teases a dive, but Bron rushes in and hits a suplex!

Seth says that all of those names and everybody else are just racing to be second place. Then Penta's music interrupts things! He takes on Bron Breakker now!

Rollins says LA Knight tried to stand up to them, and they took him out and put an end to it. So, that's why they did the savage beatdown. He says soon, Bron will do the same to another person who has been a thorn in their side: Penta.

He then mentions John Cena, Gunther, CM Punk, and Goldberg. Goldberg got a mixed reaction.

Seth says fans want things because of him. He says Roman Reigns exists because of him. Rollins says CM Punk is only back because WWE wanted to cash in on their hatred. He says Cody wouldn't have had his second coming without Rollins. Seth says the NXT Championship and World Heavyweight Championship only exist because of him!

Seth Rollins takes the microphone and says he's getting mixed signals from the crowd. One second they're chanting for the OTC and CM Punk, and the next they're barking for Bron and singing his song. He says that since they don't know what they want, Seth doesn't care what they want. Seth says they don't know what's good for them, so they need people like Seth to tell them.
