Well, that was a pretty exciting episode of SmackDown.

Big E defeats Sheamus via pinfall.
Sasha Banks defeats Naomi via pinfall.
Naomi defeats Bayley via pinfall.
Cesaro & Nakamura defeat LHP via pinfall.
Jeff Hardy defeats AJ Styles via pinfall.

Thanks for following along, folks. We'll see you tomorrow for NXT TakeOver: XXX.
...
The Fiend emerges from the ambulance, completely unscathed. Even cracking Bray Wyatt's skull can't end The Fiend, it seems.
...
As Bray Wyatt is getting loaded into the ambulance, we get another replay of Strowman's nasty slam to the concrete. The garage door doesn't open when the ambulance tries to leave, and it begins backing up as the vehicle fills with smoke.
...
There's an ambulance and uh...I think we all know where this is going.
...
Strowman tosses Wyatt out of a tunnel to the loading docks, dropping Wyatt on the concrete with a chokeslam.
...
When we return, cameras catch up to Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt battling one another backstage.
...
...
Before Bray could continue, Braun Strowman blindsides him, knocking him out and dragging him off screen.
...
We get some special Puppet theatre, with Rambling Rabbit as Alexa Bliss and Huskus the Pig Boy as Braun Strowman.

Wyatt is not exactly thrilled with their performance, and demands they get lost. Back to the lesson at hand. It's important to be more like "Him." Fueled by anger and hate.
...
He's interrupted by a phone call, picking up his "HURT" hand to speak to The Fiend. Bray Wyatt is Dopio and Diavolo. Wrestling is a JoJo's reference.
...
It's time for the Firefly Fun House! Bray Wyatt says that he loves his fireflies before referencing b-list movie City of Angels, because why not?
...
AJ Styles is in the middle of calling out Joseph Park for ruining his IC Title run backstage. Smells like a rematch at SummerSlam.
...
...
Hardy is able to avoid a Styles Clash after accidentally hitting the champ with his knee brace. Following a Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb, Jeff Hardy wins the Intercontinental Championship.

Jeff Hardy defeats AJ Styles via pinfall.
...
Unfortunately for Hardy, he's trapped in the Calf Crusher. Somehow, though, he doesn't spend too much time in the hold, and quickly grabs the ropes.
...
Hardy, somehow, has enough in him to counter the Phenomenal Forearm with a punch to the gut.
...
Styles counters a Twist of Fate with the pele kick. Hardy stumbles to the corner for a Whisper in the Wind attempt, but his knee gives out on him.
...
Back from the break, and Jeff Hardy manages to get a near fall on the Intercontinental Champion. A sit-out gourdbuster plants Styles for another two-count.
...
Styles is launched overhead to the floor by Hardy. However, as Hardy sets up for a dive, Styles drives his knee into the apron. How is Hardy going to make it through this?

...Hardy is winning, isn't he?
...
AJ Styles immediately goes to the injured leg of Jeff Hardy, hitting it as Hardy moved to the top and dropping him to the mat. Styles follows up further, tearing open Hardy's pants and going after the knee brace.

Hardy's knee is so bad off that he can't even walk.
...
...
It's time for the Intercontinental Championship! AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy!
...
Nikki Cross appears, saying that the Lexi she knows wasn't the one she spoke to last week. Something's changed in Alexa Bliss, and she's cared for her friend.
...
Sonya Deville comes out to confront Mandy Rose, stating that she knew Rose would second guess her own challenge. She asks what Rose really wants to do, because "nobody cares if I'm bald or not."

At SummerSlam, it's a No DQ match, and the loser leaves WWE.
...
...
...
...
...
Backstage, Sonya Deville is stopped by Kayla Braxton before being interrupted by Dana Brooke, who apologizes for everything that Deville's been through this week.

Deville claims it's nothing she can't handle, and slaps Brooke across the face.
...
Asuka says that after SummerSlam, she's holding all the gold because nobody is ready for Asuka! The Empress of Tomorrow takes out both of the Golden Role Models as Bayley runs past Banks, out on the ramp.
...
Naomi, out of nowhere, catches Bayley with the Rear View! 1-2-3, Naomi has not only defeated Bayley clean in the middle of the ring, but now Bayley must face Asuka first at SummerSlam.

Though...she already volunteered to do that, so nothing really changed.

Oh hey, Asuka's here.
...
Naomi barely gets a chance to recover before Bayley mauls her to open their match. Seconds in, Bayley gets an incredibly close nearfall.
...
Naomi turns things around as the match hits the three-minute mark. Naomi gets trapped in the Bank Statement, however, and must tap at 3:39.
...
A slight distraction from Bayley puts Banks back in the match, as The Boss hits a slingshot knee drop into the corner.
...
Sasha Banks is the first to take on Naomi. The Queen of Glow nearly rolls up Banks in 25 seconds.

...so if they both lose, is the one with the shortest time the winner or the loser?
...
...
...
...
In an effort to see who will face Asuka first at SummerSlam, Bayley and Sasha will take on Naomi in a Beat the Clock Challenge. Naomi sends them both to the floor with a dropkick before the break.
