Glass is a unique type of block in Minecraft that can be crafted by smelting sand blocks. While most blocks are opaque, glass is completely transparent. There are lots of glass block variants, like tinted glass and stained glass of various colors. Apart from glass panes, the glass blocks cannot be converted into any other shape variant.

Glassential Renewed is the newer version of the older Glassentail mod. In simple terms, this mod brings lots of both regular and magical glass block variants with different uses.

First of all, it brings different glass block variants, like glass doors, slabs, etc. These can be great blocks to use in different types of structures and bases. Furthermore, the mod also adds special glass blocks with magical properties.

For example, ghostly glass blocks are those that will only be solid for players but not for entities. Whereas ethereal glass blocks will not be solid for players but will be for every entity. You can also make glowstone glass blocks, redstone glass blocks, sandstone glass blocks, etc., for unique visual effects and functionalities.

Since the modpage does not mention all the crafting recipes for every glass block, it is best to use the mod with an items crafting recipe mod like Just Enough Items or Roughly Enough Items.

How to download and install the Glassential Renewed mod for Minecraft?

Here is a short guide on downloading and installing the Glassential Renewed mod for Minecraft:

Download and install the Fabric for the game version 1.21.5 or Forge for the game version 1.20.1.
Head to the CurseForge website and search for the Glassential Renewed mod.
On the mod's product page, find and download the mod file, which should be compatible with Fabric 1.21.5 or Forge 1.20.1 as of now.
Also, download Just Enough Items or Roughly Enough Items for the same game version to see crafting recipes for new glass blocks.
Copy and paste the mod file into the "mods" folder in the root Minecraft directory. For me, it's C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft.
Open the official game launcher and look for the Fabric 1.21.5 or Forge 1.20.1 modded game version.
Open the game, enter a new world, and start exploring all the new glass blocks the mod has to offer. Open the GUI and search for glass to see every new block the mod has added.
