It seems the UFC has added a featherweight barnstormer to their April 15 Fight Night 222 card as Billy Quarantillo confirmed his matchup against Edson Barboza on his OnlyFans page.

The news was confirmed by MMA journalist Alex Behunin, who tweeted out the announcement of the booking. Behunin also confirmed that the bout will not be taking place at the Apex facility in Las Vegas. He posted:

"Billy Quarantillo announced on his Onlyfans that he will be fighting Edson Barboza on April 15th!!! Sheeeeeesh."

No.14-ranked Barboza has struggled in recent years, losing seven of his past 10 bouts, but remains one of the most dangerous strikers in the featherweight division. He is on a two-fight losing slide following back-to-back losses against Bryce Mitchell and Giga Chikadze.

He faces the 34-year-old Quarantillo, who is coming off a 'Performance of the Night' award-winning second-round TKO victory over Alexander Hernandez in December.

Adrian Yanez set to face off against Rob Font at UFC 287 in April

Dana White appears to have booked a bantamweight clash between Rob Font and Adrian Yanez for the UFC 287 event in April, the venue for which is yet to be announced.

Mike Heck from MMA Fighting initially reported that the matchup was booked for April 8. This will be a high-stakes bout for both bantamweights, especially for their rankings in the division.

Yanez is currently riding an impressive nine-fight winning streak as a pro-MMA fighter and has earned a post-fight bonus in all of his bouts to date since signing with the promotion in 2020. The mercurial bantamweight also recently announced signing a new deal with the organization on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Font is on a two-fight losing streak after two consecutive decision losses to Jose Aldo and Marlon Vera. The No.6-ranked bantamweight will be looking to get back in the win column.
