If you’re going to make decent vehicles in Dune Awakening, you’ll need Holtzman Actuators. They are among the most important pieces of hardware for making high-level Suspensor Belts, Sandbikes, or Ornithopters. Used in over 30 recipes, these parts are clearly something you’re going to want to have around, and in decent quantities. They can take some effort to find, but we know where they're hiding.
Even if you want to make something like a decent personal shield, you better have some Holtzman Actuators in Dune Awakening. Here’s what you need to know, if you’re seeking these rare, but useful parts out in the desert sands of Arrakis.
Where to get Holtzman Actuators in Dune Awakening
Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to get Holtzman Actuators until you can get to Hagga Rift. While here, you can seek out Ornithopter Wrecks that are scattered throughout the zone. Then, with a Cutteray, you can shred through these and pick up anywhere from 30 to 50 Holtzman Actuators.

You can find Hagga Rift in the top-right of the Hagga Basin map, so it’s quite a long trek. It helps to have a decent vehicle when you’re traveling there. This is the only location we’ve found any kind of Ornithopter wrecks, but that doesn’t mean it’s your only option available. As you’re exploring the game, you can get lucky and find them in the various chests scattered throughout the game.
That means searching through wrecked ships and Imperial Testing Stations. We can’t guarantee they’ll be there, but there’s a chance you can find Holtzman Actuators in some of those containers.
Other than that, your best bet is going to be to trade with other players, or head to the market board and purchase them that way. The prices are likely to be exorbitant, though that will depend on your server, and the playerbase itself. You could ask on global channels, or within your own guild, if someone has them to spare.
For getting the most Holtzman Actuators though, your best bet is to head to Hagga Rift and seek out the wrecked Ornithopters. If you’re looking to craft some of the better vehicles in the game, you’re going to need plenty.
