Warhammer Darktide is set to receive a new game mode called Havoc on December 3. This new game mode is designed to challenge players and improve their abilities and is a tiered progression system designed for Trust Level 30 players. Havoc will have 40 levels in total, known as Order Levels.
The difficulty, negative multipliers, and varying mutators keep increasing as you progress through the Order Levels. There will not only be increased hordes of enemies but also four new mutators, including the Infected 21st Moebians.
This article will discuss what we know about Warhammer Darktide Havoc game mode.
All we know about the Havoc game mode in Warhammer Darktide
The Warhammer Darktide dev blog recently outlined what the Havoc game mode is going to feature:
Tiered Challenges
As mentioned, there will be 40 Order Levels of Havoc. As you progress through each level, the missions will become more difficult and help polish your skills. Every level will see an increase in negative modifiers and the modifiers of one level are carried over to the next.
You have to beat each Order Level to progress to the next. You will be given three attempts to beat a Level, but after that, you will be demoted down one Order Level.
Note that you must complete an Auric or Non-Auric Maelstrom mission to unlock Havoc.
Personalized and Dynamic Havoc Orders
Although the modifiers for every Order Level are pre-determined, the mutators and mission will be different and randomized for every player. If you cannot clear an Order Level after one attempt, you can continue to attempt the same unique mission and mutator combination.
Mobs and spawns will appear in different places to make the mission more varied and unpredictable. But you will only get three chances to clear a level.
Fluid Ranking System
Your Order Rank will get updated weekly in the Havoc game mode. If you cannot complete your Havoc Order before Havoc is updated for that week, you will still stay in the same Havoc Order. However, the mission and mutator combo will be changed.
Keep in mind that if you are unable to progress forward in any Order Level during the week, your Havoc Order will be reduced by one in the following week.
Cooperative Gameplay
The Havoc game allows you to invite your friends to progress through the Havoc Ranks. You can use the Party Finder to make a team and choose which friends’ Havoc Order to challenge together. However, you and your friends must be Level 30 to form the team. Once in a team, you can play together irrespective of your Havoc Ranks.
If your group clears any of the members' Havoc Order 21, all of you will get a new Havoc Rank of 21 at the end of the mission. However, your Havoc Order will stay the same till the following week. In the next week, all of you will have a Havoc Rank of 21 and a Havoc Order level of 22 to clear.
You will be promoted the following week based on the highest Order Level you completed in the previous week.
Party Finder Integration
According to the developers of Warhammer Darktide, the Party Finder will be added particularly for the Havoc game mode. A separate section will be available in the Party Finder so you can join or create Havoc groups. You can join a group or create your own based on your Havoc Order. If you and your friends form a group together, you will need to choose which player’s Havoc Order you would like to attempt together.

The developers also provided some additional information on Havoc:
Missions
There will be a total of eight missions in Havoc's mission pool, chosen based on various criteria. Due to being different than the other missions, Operations have not been planned to be a part of this mission pool.
Mutators
Four new mutators will be introduced in the Havoc game mode and each Order Level can have up to two mutators active at one time. Players have already faced one of these mutators, the Infected 21st Moebians, during the latest event.
Conditions
Conditions will also be a part of the Order Levels to provide an additional challenge to players. But they will not be present in every Order Level. They will probably be spread out so you face a condition every five Levels.

The developers have mentioned that the missions available for Havoc will be rotated in the future, with fresh missions added to the mission pool in an update. More mutators will probably be added as well in future updates.
