Hunting Horn is a weapon type arriving with the Monster Hunter Now Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam season.
While on a hunt, these weapons grant notes, and by aligning them in a specific order, you can trigger various melody effects. These effects include increased attack and defense stats, Special Gauge acceleration, and others that vary depending on your weapon.
Riftborne monsters
Powered by abnormal rifts, some monsters will appear as riftborne variants in the Monster Hunter Now Scarlet Gaze in the Gloam season. They will appear at Eight Stars and above. Defeat these foes, which are stronger than usual, and you will receive the materials needed for style customization.

This new feature lets you upgrade your weapons, boosting the stats of grade 8 or higher weapons.
Switching your weapon's style will let you change the actions of each weapon type. Each weapon will have two new styles to choose from. Depending on the style you select, the actions performed by long-pressing buttons and combos will be altered.
