The Cook Out 400 is a NASCAR Cup Series stock car race held annually at the Richmond Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. It is the second of the two races held at the track, with the first being the Toyota Owners 400 in the spring. The first race was held in 1958 and was originally called the Richmond 200. It was renamed the Cook Out 400 in 2023 after Cook Out restaurants became the race's title sponsor. The Cook Out 400 is a 400-lap race with a distance of 300 miles.

The Richmond Raceway is a .75-mile Dshaoped oval known for its challenging layout and competitive racing. Since it's a playoff race, the Cook Out 400 is crucial for drivers to earn the spot in the Round of 12. The defending champion of this race is Chris Buescher. The 2024 Cook Out 400 will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 6.00 PM ET. The race will be broadcast on USA Network and NBC Sports.
