Briscoe’s racing journey had a rocky start. Initially, he was not allowed to race by his father. However, he eventually allow him to race as a way of spending time with family. Briscoe started driving 410 sprint cars at the age of 13. He went on to claim 17 Top-10s and won the final race of the season. Chase Briscoe became the youngest race winner in the series. He beat the record of Jeff Gordon, a former NASCAR champion by a year. However, it is noteworthy that Briscoe was using an engine from 1993.

Briscoe applied for the Peak Stock Car Dream Challenge in 2013. The prize for the contest was a ride at Michael Waltrip Racing. He was encouraged by Michael Waltrip Racing executive, Ty Norris to continue racing. Briscoe made his debut in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series later that year at the NAPA Speedway. In 2014, Briscoe shifted to Charlotte, North Carolina, in order to pursue his racing career further.
